Bielema will have more success at Arkansas than Sumlin will at A&M. Book mark it. Sig quote it. Don't care, it's going to happen

Good thing we have better management than most of those schools. And lol at saying the Mississippi schools have more talent than we do. We kick their arse on a regular basis.

Petrino was a way better fit than Bielema will ever be.

I fricking the hate the word "fit" as people use it in football

There is NO such thing as a better or worse fit for a school. Bielema is just as good of a fit as Petrino was.

He could get far more out of the athletes Arkansas is able to recruit to Fayetteville.

You want to know why there's this dumb sentiment that good recruits won't go to Fayetteville? It's because the coaches have been unable to recruit. Bielema in his first year had a higher ranked class than Petrino ever did. We can recruit at a high level, we just have never had the coach to do that.

Okay, 2 Big Ten titles is still impressive for fricking Wisconsin

2010 had the potential to be a great year for Wisconsin but they couldn't finish the year off with a win over TCU.

Petrino and Bielema did have the same high water mark (crashing and burning in a BCS bowl) so I don't blame y'all for getting excited about your coach earning his "been there, done that, had sex, don't care" hat.

Bielema was pretty kick arse in the Citrus Bowl but you can't play SEC West Champs like Houston Nutt every year.

These are five of our top rated recruits from the 2013 class.

Alex Collins - Ft Lauderdale, Florida

Denver Kirkland - Miami, Florida

Dan Skipper - Arvada, Colorado

Reeve Kohler - Honolulu, Hawaii

Damon Mitchell - Egg Harbor, New Jersey

Here are some of the top rated ones in the 2014 class.

Jermaine Eluemunor - Scranton, Pennsylvania

Rafe Peavey - Bolivar, Missouri

Henre Tolliver - Meterie, Louisiana

Jovan Pruitt - Dallas, Texas

Armon Watts - St Louis, Missouri

We still have eleven open slots for the 2014 class. I am sure we will get some more blue chips from out of state.

I didn't say the schools -- I said the states.

Rivals has Arkansas at #27 for 2013 and #27 for 2014.

Rivals had y'all at #24 in 2011 and #34 in 2012.

What am I not seeing?

So Les Miles' ceiling is losing in BCS bowls? That's pretty much all he's done since Saban's recruits graduated. Without the NCAA throwing them a bone and giving them a title shot with two losses in 07, Les Miles' track record would be shite.

Precisely.

In hindsight, I agree. But more reasons why the Heisman means jack shite. It's a popularity contest.

In fairness, Bielema has actually won his conference a couple of times.

I'll give him that.

I think going 13-0 during the regular season with two awful QBs should count for something. I'm wearing my "#2 NATIONALLY" ring right now.

You would quickly GAF about the Heisman if your program had one. Luckily we have an extra to spare. Sumlin might let you have a four star recruit as well, we almost have too many.

Help get Bret's class in the top 20 so y'all can act like Bret accomplished something.

Hey- he said Bert would have a better career than Sumlin, not me. That means hardware- Heismans, SEC trophies, or crystal balls.

And yes people give a huge shite about the Heisman. Gets better ratings than some networks get in a week.

I said Petrino could get more out of his recruits.

That <> Petrino could get higher rated recruits.

Or did you Hog fans really not believe the shite you were spewing about Petrino being an offensive genius?

ETA: Since you linked 247sports, they rank Arky's 2014 class at #24 nationally and #10 in the SEC.

Well yeah I'd be excited, but acting like it's the end all be all is stupid

A complete team >>>>>>>>>>>>> one or two superstars

Bielema is recruiting at a much higher level than any of our past coaches

And cool, Auburn said the same thing

Best play caller in the game. Best developer of talent? Meh. Maybe at QB and WR, not anywhere else though
