Just look at the Average rating on recruits. That's the true ranking this early.

Well, I like the changes. Posted on here it was good for college football and got voted down like crazy.

The have-nots, even in the SEC, look at the portal as an easy fix to equality. The Playoffs keep saying the opposite for the last 4 seasons, but the downtrodden remained hopeful.

Players will continue to flock to elite football schools regardless, but for all practical purposes, with the new cap, I think it's going to feel a little more normal than this feeding frenzy we have all been a part of.

At best, the portal is zero sum. At worst, it helps the haves.

top tier talent and those players almost always wait until the last minute to commit to a given school.

Not even remotely true anymore.

To be fair, most of the recruits will sign with the team they committed to. It's not really close.

You following Auburn at the moment bruh?

The people that have "almost complete classes" are paying massive NIL deals for kids to commit right away and shut down their recruitment. If they re-open their recruitment, the deal is null and void.

This is what I think too. The Georgia and Texas pricks think it’s because their school is so star-spangled awesome that kids wanna play for it, but I think the kids are holding back based on what their agent say.

Nobody wants a Lamborghini from dealer stock. It takes time to custom order. Can’t blame these kids for waiting to be sure they get the car they want before committing.

Every player out there could get an offer they can't refuse.

So, now in 2025, the auction block is trending again. Who knew? Maybe Noah Knigga knew.

You know what Georgia is good at?...administering our annual prison-raping to Auburn every season. So, we might be "pricks" but we are an elite school and Auburn and other 2nd tier teams in the conference are not. Elite schools get elite talent. That's why we're elite. Do the math....
