He has a horrible November stretch. If he loses all of them, he is back to being fired chatter

I disagree with you. Drinkwitz is in the same situation. He has to have two quarterbacks to be ready to take over the other one if he plays badly or gets injured.

He lost his #1 and #2 QB for the season and his #1 WR and #1 RB?

Are you sure he's in the same situation?

I’m not joking. I think Napier did a good job yesterday. They really hung in there against the best team in the game. It was honestly impressive how they kept fighting after Lagway went down

The point is both should have prepared for recruiting two good serviceable quarterbacks Drinkwitz failed that for sure. I am not familiar with the Florida situation.I thought it was the starter that went down and the backup wasn't ready at all. But it was your third string quarterback that wasn't ready. Good luck and I had guaranteed a Florida win over LSU. That might not happen now.

I don't think people are defending Napier as much as preaching patience. From the outside looking in, Florida is toxic. Boosters and fans publicly calling for his firing. Hell, your NIL deal with that California QB that fell through did some damage, too.

Florida is on their 6th head coach since the turn of the century. S-I-X. There's no stability there. And, let's be honest. Urban Myer bailed on you because of the unnecessary pressure and unrealistic expectations. Amazing how he bounced back to the picture of health after he left.

And I don't get all the impatience with the fan base. Look at your history. You've had just under 2 decades of success in the 120 years of football being played in Gainesville. Spurrier made you relevant after decades of mediocrity. Myer came in and won after your failed experiment with Zook.

And that was followed by Florida being what they are...

Florida.

Holy shite. In a talent-rich state like Florida, that seems almost impossible.

Post Merlin, shark fricker, and Mushchamp. The NIL was in shambles and the team was just dysfunctional.

Because he's a terrible coach.

When everyone else in the conference loves your coach, it's probably a sign that he sucks.

No one loved Saban, no one loves Kirby, no one loved Spurrier/Meyer, etc.

This doesn’t affect their NIL spend

They haven’t settled anything and even if they do pay out it leaves them in the same position

The losers at the UAA need to be replaced. The University President needs to be replaced. The A.D. needs to be replaced. Until those 3 things happen we're stuck.

So much of this is true Gary. As crazy as the Caw was, he is dead nuts accurate on the UAA needing to be cleaned out. Start from scratch.
