Not really. Just Smith. Got him this year when he was injured.
Stingley did very well vs Clemson’s WRs and Pickens before.
Also made some very nice plays vs Seth Williams.
Think it might just be Smith really

I didn't. Although didn't Stingley opt out at the end?
Metchie should play both ways

Look.
Nobody is 100% positive that elite talent can embarrass Surtain.
We’re obviously sure that elite talent embarrasses Stingley.
Which Clemson receiver did Surtain cover in 2018?

This is sad. He’s had more success against Stingley than any other corner in America, likely dating back to middle school

Stingley never opted out. He was injured
The whole season in fact, including limping around in a number of games

Van Jefferson had his way when Stingley covered him

This just isn’t true. They didn’t match up much in 2019 but when they did Stingley locked down his receivers that whole game except one really good Jeudy route and the deep ball to smith where Stingley was literally looking at the sidelines

Surtain is going first round he doesn’t care.

I mean I guess.
Same could be said for Surtain with Ross and Higgins in the title game?
Since then, he refuses to guard top wrs.

What about the other Smith bomb?
You do know he gave up 2 TDs to Smith in 2019, right?

To be clear you are talking about the garbage time TD he gave up when we called the wrong coverage right?
That’s on the DC, not Stingley
I am glad though that we started talking about this game because I just went and watched the highlights and it reminded me how much of a domination it really was

Smith beat him twice for long touchdowns, caught a 20+ yard back shoulder throw on him, and cooked him on slants a few times. Most of his receptions in 2019 came against Stingley, including the longest of his career, an 85 yarder late in the 4th quarter that made it a 5 point game.
Stingley shied away from him in the first half this year, went into the locker room and asked for the smoke, and came back out in the second half and got two lungs full of it. There is no excuse you can make, all of that shite was broadcast to a national audience. Smith owns Stingley. Owns him.

Garbage time and wrong coverage. Just covered that

I feel like you are just saying this with no proof

You’re just a certified idiot. He was visibly limping the entire game

He was on an island with him in man and got beat. You can say it was a dumb call, but he still got beat. Your a-hole was sealed tighter than Fort Knox on that onside kick too. fricking spare me with “garbage time”. There was a minute and a half left in a 5 point game when we lined up for an onside kick. Don’t discuss football anymore if that’s your take.
