Our OL is comprised of 4 underclassmen (in contrast to your 4 upperclassmen) with true freshmen backups.
Our OL being upperclassmen doesn't make them good. They sucked regardless of year. You keep getting on UGA fans for not knowing UF's situation, then spout off retarded shite about UGA like you aren't doing the very same thing.
Callaway isn't a freshman.
Wilson and Tabor weren't LBs. They are likely 1st round NFL corners. not sure wtf you're talking about with that one.
Jarrad Davis was a linebacker and a damn good one.
Go ahead though. I'm sure McElwain is just the very bestest coach ever to grace a sideline. Georgia was totally loaded the last two years, and none of Florida's players were any good. Those NFL draft people are just too stupid to realize it. Anyways, who needs good players? Jimmies and joes don't mean shite relative to the McElwain, Nussmeier, and Shannon brain trust.

Florida has been soundly beaten on the recruiting trail the last three (now four) years.
This is the disconnect. You think this proves your point, but it's exactly why UGA fans are hopeful.
Florida has had the more highly thought of upperclassmen for the past two years, and won soundly both times. Those recruiting classes you're talking about are just now all at Georgia and Florida together.
Moving forward, that advantage looks like it will flip. Time will tell if results do.

We had a very good 2014 class. Not near as good as Florida's 2012 and 2013 classes. But good enough to give us the senior leadership that can make a run.
Our 2015 class still wasn't as good as Florida's 2012 and 2013 classes. But it at least gets us in that level of talent. And they will be upper-classes this season.
This will be the best group of upper-class men that we have seen since 2012. And even still... we lack upper-class talent on the OL to make us very confident coming into the season (if we can't effectively run the football, we are going to have a lot of close football games against lesser talented teams).
Our trend gets even better for 2018 as the OL should be ready and our 2016/2017 classes are the best tandem classes in almost 20 years (just hope the guys with playing time don't transfer or get kicked off the team).

Why would you laugh at an LSU fan? We've won more national titles in the last 15 years than UGa has in their entire football history. Hell Uga only has 2 sec titles in the last 35 years. Let that sink in. 2 sec titles in 35 years. That's only 2 more than Vandy.

Sorry to break the news but Uga isn't relevant on a national level. They've never even played for a bcs title. Learn your place boy.

There's always 10 of these threads from Florida fans in the offseason, so let me answer some FAQs.
We don't. Next question.
Yeah. I think our entire fanbase openly acknowledges this. What, should we just stop recruiting and put the band on the roster in hopes to remedy the problem?
Go read any of our boards. The fanbase is split but hopeful on what Kirby will end up being at UGA. I personally am not sold. Clearly a great recruiter and roster builder, but I want to see him develop his talent before I fawn over him.
I mean, we won it twice just 4 years ago and we had a 3 game streak on y'all not that long ago
. Again, I'd like to see all tRant threads with Georgia fans claiming we own Florida. As for the East, it's bad. Why shouldn't we think it's a strong possibility? Seems like an open race to me.
Hope I was able to be helpful.

Why are you so concerned about it?

Last year is literally the only year you could have an argument, and, well, it was with our weakest offense to date because of quarterback play. The other years you guys just got smoked by our terrible, terrible offense.
So you still don't want to talk about uf's far superior defensive talent, and the impact that can have.

Literally, outside of our d-line, we had everything worse than Georgia.
Why can't you stay on topic just once? You were specific about uga recruiting, and I told you to look at uga recruiting, yet you come back with a post about uf recruiting.

It isn't going to change because this top ten class was a little better than last year's and the year's before that, and the year's before that.
It should change because of more experience and more talent. Replacing the awful 2013 class with the awesome looking 2017 one is a bigger deal than someone like you can comprehend.

People see the East as begging a team to take it over and Georgia feels like they could maybe do that this year (like Tennessee last year).

it's been that way the last several years. UGA won in 11 and 12. 13 had mu/sc as very good teams that deserved it. 14-16 nobody at all was all that good and the winner basically just won by default. There isn't really a clear powerhouse like you have in the west.
I do think that UGA is shaping up to put itself in position. UF could if they find a QB but I can't even remmeber the last time they've had great QB play for a full season. UT is about to drop off.

Fair or unfair, Florida feels like they are the best of the worst. And their SEC title game performances kind of confirm it. Until they have a QB step up they'll be looked at as a solid 8-9 win program at their ceiling with Mac.
Georgia is probably a year away, but the QB plus the returning players and a great recruiting class make it the obvious choice for people.
