2. Only school in the nation to have a #1 seed lose out in their home regional to a nobody.
3. Trophy case remains dusty…..minus Women’s Tennis
4. Got swept by Mizzou

I’m on the verge of tl;dr, so I’ll stop there.

It’s fun watching Almost&M, arse&M, or the Faggies, lose at anything regardless of their team strength or lack their of.

1. I think a lot of our fans thought we were still battling for a national seed (we weren’t) so it made this game seem more important than it was.
2. Good fans get up for every game their team plays, especially conference games.
3. A&M is always fun to take jabs at.
4. Losing would have sucked because A&M would have crowed about it through next season.

LSU had to win this game.

They already lost the series to A&M 2-1. LSU could not afford to go 1-3 v. A&M, it would invite too much embarrassment and kill the mojo going into the NCAA tournament.
