If you would stop trying to pretend you are the "next Alabama" that would probably help.

Considering our most recent CFP title is 2 years more recent than your 2020 Asterisk Season played/won in front of virtually no one but cardboard cutouts on a truncated schedule, we'll just be over here quietly stacking trophies while y'all watch 2nd & 26 highlights on replay.

When teams stop rushing the field anytime we lose an away game, I'll consider this.

Between this and "But we beat Georgia," Alabama fans are having to get more and more creative these days to convince themselves that Bama is as relevant as ever. Maybe try not losing so many road games. ***Edit stat corrected by the one Alabama fan, good call

SECCG X 3 and National Championship X 2 since January 2022 = "some good seasons"

I promise that I'm perfectly fine with Georgia being the lead dog in the SEC. Georgia will never have Alabama's tropy case, and that's okay.

Watching Bama fans go through the 5 Stages of tDecline is entertaining and interesting.

Nobody has any illusions we will match Alabama's success. Nobody. But Alabama fans are so terrified that their time is over that you make unrealistic demands of everyone else. You want everyone to bow down to you and pretend you are still in mid Saban form. You're not.

Literally nobody claims we are still in mid Saban form.

We are a team that just had a coach retire and we are transitioning into a new system under our current coach. Despite this, Alabama is 2-1 against Georgia and just made the SECCG in his first 2 years. Even while playing the 4th toughest schedule in college football this year.

You have to make that shite up because while we aren't mid Saban form, we are still on par or better than Georgia in many ways and we are clearly improving. And I'm pretty sure that has you worried.

Weird, I remember you losing a road game last year and nobody rushed the field.

We didn't get to see if Georgia would have rushed the field this year after beating Alabama, because your home win streak came to an end.

I think that matches you with Florida under Urban Meyer. Maybe 1 more SEC championship?

I once watched Alabama start the season #3 and finish 3-8. If you think these are bad times for Alabama, then you don't know shite. I'm happy as frick with the direction of the program.

Uga has been better than bama overall for 5 years in a row.

You don’t even realize you are proving our point about good UGA has been these 5 seasons as Uf was elite from 06-09.

No, it's not a putdown at all. I would have been thrilled to get a single NC out of Saban or any coach. I never expected him to rip off 6, nor is it realistic to expect those things.

Kirby is going to be a HOF coach and for good reason.

I'm pointing out it's not as unique as you seem to think it is.

Y'all were one bad penalty away from getting shut out in the SECCG, not even Arkansas or South Carolina played that poorly when they were in the SECCG

Thats in the past buddy and you know it. Yall got dick downed this year and it doesnt matter what you try to divert attention to everybody's just gonna laugh and go 28-7. Deal with it. Your program is a nut hair away from being in shambles and you know it, I'd probably be getting a head start developing my coping skills too. Just try not to go on a meth bender and maybe you'll still be alive or a free man next time Bama is legit contenders again.

and just made the SECCG in his first 2 years.

And yet Georgia played for a national title in our coaches 2nd year of head coaching total. Amazing how a storied school with all of the history Alabama has can't do something Georgia did, isn't it?

In our head coaches second year of coaching he played for a National Championship, yet with all of the resources, history, backing Alabama has you barely made the playoffs in your coaches second year. Oh, but you are in transition...kind of like we were when Kirby took over, right?.

Simple, because whenever someone would start any thread praising Georgia remotely after any game this year some Bammer would pop in running their mouth. When you run your mouths like you did and then get taken to the woodshed, what do you expect?

I won't indulge in the Bama vs. UGA arguments but will call this line out. Even before the SECCG, bama fans were talking about Ty's regression, the offense becoming too 1-dimensional etc. Even mentioning how the same thing happened last season. I'm not sure what to be worried about tbh

The best thing Bama could do imo is beef up their OL. Ty Simpson & Bama's WRs are simply too good to stop when they have time, even more than an average group. All 3 losses have been against good DL performances.

Yet you are proving otherwise by having to go back to 2006 to find someone who almost had a run as good as Kirby is having. Your insecurity now has you arguing against yourself.

Let me help you with the bama FEI ratings:

21: 2
22: 3
23: 9
24: 9
25: 10

Looks like the wrong direction

If you want to talk about the most recent game, then congrats on your win. It was well deserved, clearly the better team on the field that day.

If you want to look at the general directions and strength of the teams, then yes the other stuff matters.

I don't think some of you are capable of understanding these contexts, just like you have fits because you don't understand the differences between power rankings and season rankings.

I'm not surprised concepts such as the amount of change and differences between systems doesn't factor in for you. If you notice our defense has transitioned pretty well, even though we now run a 4-3 base and a lot more zone. It was a little rough at times last year, and even some this year. But it has for the most part doing very well this year. Offensively we need different types of players, it's a bigger transition.

As for Georgia in 2017, you made the championship because you played in the SEC East and you were rewarded for your easy schedule with a rematch against an Auburn team that lost it's RB while playing Alabama. You lost much worse to Auburn the first time and if they had taken the 2 best teams in the conference the way they did this year, you wouldn't have even made the SECCG, it would have been an Alabama vs Auburn rematch.
