I'm glad you're old enough to get the reference.

Uhhhhhhh
Maybe just maybe these players actually consider the academic standing of a school.
And it doesnt get much better than MI. Certainly compared to a LSU degree.
Just saying. Also I think the lack of progress from BK is very clear. Nuss has not developed whatsoever under BK.

Team boards on the site are full of idiots like that unfortunately. LSU just happens to have the most users.

How could he “leave” if he was never there?

I've never understood that mentality. These kids change their minds every year and seems that fans just keep falling for the banana in the tail pipe. No way anyone should just assume that they're going to make it campus. Then you have people talking shite about how good their team is gonna be before the players actually sign.

But he also did do us dirty by doing the "1000% committed" shite the past weeks.
It's likely he very much was 1000% committed at the time given the counter-NIL money being offered. Then, the counter-offers exceeded the flip threshold he had in mind, and LSU didn't match. So, he is no longer committed.
I feel it had nothing to do with LSU performance, but all to do with $$$. Pros opt to go to or stay with shitty teams all the time.
It's unrestricted free agency from recruitment until you leave college. If you want loyalty, find a kid who was swaddled in your team's blanket and cried everytime his team lost to a rival as a child with tried and true family members 4+ generations deep rooting for that team. BUT, even then, you're likely not getting him or keeping him if the money isn't right.

Signing doesn't mean shite anymore either.

That's a good point.

At least if they sign, you can assume that he will at play one year and see the field.

Yeah, before realignment, like i said....
And revenue sharing is about to start. There will be a ton of changes to college football coming up.
None of us know if it was strictly money. Supposedly the number that UM gave is like $12 mil. Maybe it was some coaching too. He liked our OC and wanted to be developed. Maybe he doesn't like what he sees. I have no idea and neither does anyone else on this board. CBK will have to shoulder some responsibility in not keeping this monster class together.
We have one of the highest paid staffs in college football. We win titles in multiple sports and our athletic revenue is like top 6.
We are in a rough patch but we will be fine. What would be really funny is UM ends up facing some sanctions. I mean, they were caught cheating.

You got way to much idle time on your hands , it is what it is, it’s not college football anymore, the NIL and Portal has ruined it, why you think Saban jumped ship.It should be called NIL league with portal football.
