I never said you can't go to a shite school and be a good player but Hofstra and UAB have their once in a lifetime talent while LSU churns out NFL talent year after year.

I didn't realize SEC rant only meant LSU. That would be Tiger Rant.
There's just as much on this page about LSU as there is on the Tiger Rant.
LSU isn't trapped in this board with the SEC. The SEC is trapped on this board with LSU.
Don't like it, go to another website.

quote:What you're describing is good recruiting, which no one ever accused Miles of being incapable of. We're saying that all that NFL talent was squandered there. The fact that so many LSU guys are productive on NFL rosters while LSU has dick-fist to show for it bolsters that point.
LSU churns out NFL talent year after year. Sure recently our coaches have been piss poor at utilizing some of its talent but that isn't the premise of this post
LSU underutilized pretty much all of them.

You have every idea what I'm talking about. Quit playing dumb. Or maybe u just forgot what you said 5 minutes ago before you found out Lacy only has 300 or so rushing yards.

give up man. lsu backs have been average at best in the nfl lately. henry is sitting behind a top 3 nfl back but has looked great in the opportunities hes had.

He can't stop eating. That's why he was overweight and was required to get back in shape.

Oh cmon get that stick out your arse it was a joke. Chill out gump. You're all getting triggered because the numbers show that LSU RBS have bright futures while bama RBS have recently all been busts. Don't get mad figure out how CNS can prepare his players for the NFL better. That is half his job.
I'm at the park, you're the triggered one around here.
I'm quite happy with the job Nick has done. He's doing what Bama is paying him to do...win championships.
I didn't realize that O and tBinder was all about running a NFL farm team. Sorry that LSIxU is now the definition of minor league.

Maybe. Or maybe they were just better prepared for the big time? Maybe the focus was on the future of the players rather than championships? Maybe that's why miles got fired? I'm not here to argue wasted talent at LSU. I'm here trying to tell you that LF7 is not wasted talent, he's going down and will always be remembered as an LSU great and maybe the best back we've ever seen here. Just because he didn't win championships doesn't mean he's trash. My point in bringing up the bama hesimans was to try and open your eyes to the fact that winning the heisman has nothing to do with how good of a player you will be in the future.

Lol omg you meant legit EATING. lol I had no idea Lacy turned Into Jamarcus Russell
my bad

I like the way that sounds, so I'll go with it.

So LSIxU is a shite school now? Generational player to the NFL soon?
You guys are the Hofstra of the SEC.

Can you read past the first 2 lines? I said I will not participate in a discussion of wasted talent. That is not the premise of this thread. Educate ya damn self.

I have no problem with saying LSU has better players in the NFL. But since this is specifically a college board I'm also saying LSU underachieves and that isn't changing anytime soon with Ed O at HC.

Do you cheer for LSU to win championships or to send guys to the NFL? You root for championships. You have all this NFL talent yet you haven't won anything with it since '11. So yeah I'd call that pretty obviously a waste
That's called flipping the script

They really need a NFL board around here so the LSIxU folks can go there and fap about their former players that underachieved in college. The Saints board is just not cutting it for them.
Posted on 12/11/16 at 12:14 pm to Sid E Walker
And Bama needs an NFL board where their fans can bitch and whine about all the busts CNS has put out. Teaching players to hold so that your RBs can break out for big gains clearly does not translate well into the NFL game.

Once again you bring up YARDS PER CARRY which is not a reliable stat to compare RBs with I don't really know why you keep bringing that up when he's 400 yards ahead of lacy and Henry. And sure spencer didn't produce early because he was playing behind Jamal Charles and on a completely trash chiefs team a couple years back. Now that they're better and he's getting more touches he's really making a name for himself this year. Keep living in the past but this year Hill and Ware are light years better than Henry and Lacy
Spencer Ware is a sixth round talent that was not even on an active roster in 2014 after not making any impact with the Seahawks he was cut. He signed with the Chiefs practice squad and because of injuries has been thrust into a significant role. He has made the most of his opportunities similar to the way Alfred Blue did in Houston when Arian Foster was injured.
Please stop trying to make it more than what it is. It's disingenuous and insulting to those who really watch football. Clearly you don't.
