Because the Heisman y'all guaranteed us that he'd win was awarded to someone else last night, maybe?

Richardson has a similar problem that Fournette has. Poor vision. Lacy can't stop eating. Henry is a rookie.

Sure, how many active LSU players are starting on NFL rosters and you call that "wasted" lmao please.
That is the definition of wasted talent.

Roddy White played at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Jeremy Hill sucks. Spencer Ware was barely on an active roster and a career back up until the Chief's injuries.

I wouldn't touch an LSU back. They are the Wisconsin of the SEC. They benefit greatly from getting the majority of their carries out of 2TE sets or running out of the I formation with a lead back.

You're a funny guy.

No, Fournette's vision is fine. Richardson just never was very good.

Colleges do have some part in the players' development. But it is not the biggest reason. There are plenty of stars in the NFL that came from small schools. Julio Jones or Patrick Peterson would still be stars in the NFL even if they would've have gone to Mississippi St.

If these players are truly good than they will be good players in the NFL. So tell me what does LSU do differently with their RBs that make so much better than Bama's?

Sure and Colston went to Hofstra. I never said you can't go to a shite school and be a good player but Hofstra and UAB have their once in a lifetime talent while LSU churns out NFL talent year after year. Sure recently our coaches have been piss poor at utilizing some of its talent but that isn't the premise of this post.

Why do LSU fans have such a hard time understanding that this is a college football forum?

Specifically, this is an LSU forum, so anything related to LSU will be discussed ad nauseum.

I didn't realize SEC rant only meant LSU. That would be Tiger Rant.

The real stats are Spencer Ware has 1203 career yards in 4 years and makes peanuts compared to quality RBs. Yet you are in this thread trying to convince people he is great.

Jeremy averaged 3.6 ypc and cost the Bengals there 1st playoff win in over a decade. He is having a better year this year, but nothing to be bragging on the SEC rant about.

That's true for a lot of players.

By my count there's one thread on the first page besides this one that is discussing him. But even if there were hundreds of threads discussing him, it would be what LSU fans deserve. Y'all hyped him up to be the GOAT from day one and he never accomplished anything at the level that everyone here cares about.

Last I checked we are all college football fans here , I've noticed L6U fans can only talk N.F.L. When it comes to their players underachieving in college , and by the end of the year defending their choice of coming to the bayou .

Saying that Leonard Fournette underachieved at LSU is simply garbage. He's going down as the all time best running back in LSU history. To say they underachieved because they didn't win SEC or national titles in an age where Bama has been absolutely dominant and the SEC West in general has consistently been the best division in college football is retarded.

Bama fans are on top of the world because their program has been on a run unparalleled in modern college football under the tutelage of Saban, who in my opinion should go down as the greatest coach in college football history. It's convenient for them to decry the "waste" of talent at LSU because they are interested in stealing elite LA football recruits so they attempt to paint LSU as a place where their talent will be "wasted."

By all measures, Fournette has been widely successful in his personal career at LSU and his NFL prospects are as high now as they would have been had he gone anywhere else, including Bama. It's simply a bullshite claim but it's easy for Bama fans to make without concern for counter claims on account that their program is effectively unassailable due to it's shear dominance under Saban.

LSU's star players have shone. The real issue has been LSU simply hasn't had the depth in the trenches and the offense has been antiquated. We also have missed on QB's over and over again.

Once again you bring up YARDS PER CARRY which is not a reliable stat to compare RBs with I don't really know why you keep bringing that up when he's 400 yards ahead of lacy and Henry. And sure spencer didn't produce early because he was playing behind Jamal Charles and on a completely trash chiefs team a couple years back. Now that they're better and he's getting more touches he's really making a name for himself this year. Keep living in the past but this year Hill and Ware are light years better than Henry and Lacy.
