Wrong. Passed a few years ago. There is no longer a requirement to flee an aggressor. If your life is in danger, you can end his.

Missouri is not Southern. Hell, it isn't even Eastern.
Geographically and culturally, I agree to a certain extent. The Northern parts of the state along with the major metro areas aren't very southern at all. The rural areas are more "Midwestern farmers" whereas the metro areas are, well let's just say they are what one would expect from any metro area.
Now, I honestly can't tell the difference between northern Arkansas, and southern Missouri.

"I've been in Kansas, Missouri (which seem really similar to me-ok people, nothing to do outside of the huge cities)"
are you fricking kidding me Missouri is full of sporting lakes (Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock etc.) nature stuff everywhere and great hunting and fishing.

Dude,
NOW they are competitors. Need a better reason to trash the opposition?

Mizzou will perform better than most SEC fans think and A&M will be much worse.
The tigers have dominated the aggies and will continue to do so head-to-head.
SEC fans seem to think that A&M, while they have sucked recently, at least used to be really good. This isn't true, A&M did nothing worth talking about in the 80s and 90s except for cheating like crazy and getting busted often. A&M had no top 5 finishes during the 'wrecking crew' era. In fact, they haven't had a top 5 finish in about 6 decades - also, no national title since their only one in the 1930s and only one conference title in the woeful Big12.
Maybe A&M will set the world on fire but, if history is any indication, they will continue to be a substandard program.

JohnRazorback,
Kansas and Missouri, geographically, aren't similar at all. You're fricking retarded, and you've probably only been to Kansas City where you based an opinion on the entire state.
Southern Missouri is Ozark Mountain hill country with multiple sporting lakes (Table Rock, Lake of the Ozarks, Stockton, Harry Truman Reservoir, etc.
Also, Missouri probably has the most scenic rivers to canoe or kayak, too many to name off. Southern Missouri is very similar to Northwestern Arkansas...but we're talking about the entire southern half of the big state of Missouri. Not just a corner of the state.
To compare us geographically similar to Kansas is to akin yourself to a full blown retard, which I already assume you are.

Ok, i get that they are in regions that aren't traditionally known as the deep south..that's understood. But with all of this "what has either team ever done, they suck" and "our teams are wayyy better and we don't need yall" is pretty dumb.
When I first started conversing on this sight, I didn't understand the enviroment. I rejected alot of those remarks.
Now? I wouldn't have it any other way! Love the rejection. Look forward to all the crazy arse topics flaming Mizzou. I love defending Mizzou.
This place is a blast and hope it never changes, cause there are some characters on this forum. It's always good for a laugh.

AND Lewis and Clark were charged with exploring LOUISIANA. therefore, missouri was a part of louisiana and must have missed us. we would love to have y'all back as part of louisiana but there seems to be another state in the way geographically and we don't want them.

Jaffy,
Exactly. I absorb the negativity towards Mizzou like I absorb oxygen.
It'll be extremely gratifying when Mizzou shocks these people...

Well, Arkansas was part of Missouri and we gave them that shitty land and sent all of our "special needs" people down there.
Arkansas is sort of like Australia, except Arkansas was a special needs colony instead of a penal colony.

just so you know, georgia was also a penal colony, just closer. it is entirely possible that said former colonists migrated west into present day arkansas. i'm sure this can be proved by reseaching family trees but many arkansas residents are understandably afraid to do so.

Probably.

Even the fat bitches are stuck up in Dallas. Do not base your opinion of the state after going to Dallas.
Texas as a state is too big and diverse to attempt to classify, but East Texas is pretty similar to south Alabama if you ask me. I lived in Opp for 3 months when I was 11. Visit Woodville and Livingston and tell me its much different.
Texas just has the three big cities with big suburbs, which aren't really that sotuhern in nature. A lot of jobs too that get carpetbagged, but I would say everything in between the metroplexes is pretty southern, at least rural southern. Its not going to be Savannah or Charleston.
