Who's tired of the Tebow lovefest?

Is anyone else tired of the Tebow lovefest from the media? For the media to go on a witch hunt for one coach who didn't vote for a player on a PRESEASON team is ridiculous. Tebow was still on the first team preseason All-SEC team. Who cares if it was unanimous?? It's the PRESEASON!!! What matters is if a player is on an All-SEC team after the season is over not before. The media treats Tebow like a God. I mean why are we even playing the games if almighty Tebow and his great gators are going undefeated and winning a national title without even breaking a sweat? If it was up to the media, they would just give it to them. Well I'm not buying that crap. I remember Tebow and the gators losing 4 games 2 seasons ago. Two of the losses were to mediocre Michigan and Auburn teams in the state of Florida. I'm tired of hearing about a QB who might be backing up Trent Edwards in Buffalo next year.

I tire of hearing Tiger Woods, Kobe...etc...as well, but when you are the best player in your sport. its expected. Tebow may not be the best college QB playing, but he is the best college football player.
Like the rest of us, bear with it another 8 months or so.

I wish SS had stood his ground. If ole miss supporting cast can step up Snead very well could be the post season best. I think Snead is a very good qb. Tebow has much bettter team to play with.

I've got no problems with Tebow. I have a lot of respect for him, and he actually is my favorite college football player.
That being said, I hope LSU breaks him in half.
But I did find it to be unusually reactive and strange for the media to try so hard to root out someone for voting his opinion... as though there could be NO OTHER opinion when selecting a pre-season all-SEC quarterback.
It's not even a real award. It's pre-season.
I hope this isn't a sign of what this season's media coverage is going to be like. Because even though I like Tebow, this is a bit over the top.

I kinda like Tebow, but the media is making me start to hate him like I did Matty Leinart.

The guy is an incredible football player, an incredible leader, and an incredible role model. He is a great ambassador for college football and deserves all the attention he gets. You're just tired of it because he plays for a rival school, get over it.

Pulling for Tim Tebow to win is like pulling for Brad Pitt to get laid.

Who said anything about pulling for him to win?

WOW!!! Follow closely. There really wouldn't be a lovefest if people were wanting him to lose now would there?

He is a great football player and a great person but after hearin about it for way too long it gets old just like hearin bout the new england patriots and just like that other person said kobe and tiger woods and every person who seems to suck up the medias attention.I don't remember which game it was but I remember when tebow taunted one of the opponents and the announcer said somewhere along the lines of "that's probly the worst thing he has ever done in his life". Does anyone else remember that? The media has put these teams, and players on pedistals. It is gettin old but its always gonna be this way. It is what it is.
