I'd say Wilson right now with Bray and Murray on his heels. The problem for all three of those guys is they have to carry their teams offensively. Their numbers almost have to be great for their teams to be successful. The Dawgs are srarting to play some D for Murray which should help him.

Technically you are correct. However, he has only played ONE real team and he had 20+ incompletions.

most people define the best qb as the one with the most passing yardage. i think the best qb is the one that leads his team to victory which invariably will include some passing yardage but throwing for first downs and touchdowns would be my criteria for the best. to hell with yardage; that's loser stat shite. the best qb's in the sec are lee and mccarron (sp).

I guess Stephen Garcia was considered the best QB in the SEC last week.

Jarrett Lee has engineered his team to a 5-0 record with the closest game being a 13 pt win.
Yea, because Jarrett Lee is the reason LSU is 5-0

Crompton and Joe Cox would be 5-0 with 2011 LSU team

I honestly thought at this point in the season that an argument could be made for Garcia.

Exactly. It's silly to say McCarron and Lee are the SEC's best quarterbacks. They are just on the best teams.

I was referring to how Bray had only played one decent team and he struggled.

He struggled for 300 yards and 3 TDs without his top guy, and his second guy getting doubled teamed all game long in the Swamp.
How shitty of him.
And Cincy beat NC State by like 5 TDs. They're not great, but not chopped liver.

Tyler Wilson has been put on his arse more times than not...yet he just keeps getting up and slinging and not bitching to the refs...He'll get another 350 and 5 TD's this week

Based on this Year
Tier 1 (Any Order)
Wilson
Bray
Murray
Tier 2 (Any Order)
Brantley
Mccarron
Lee
Trotter
Tier 3 (Any Order)
Relf
Tier 4 (Any Order)
Vandy's QB
Kentucky's QB
Ole Miss's QB
Not enough to grade
Shaw (Probably 3 with Relf)
Agree with everyone that says Lee and Mcarron aren't the reason their teams are 5-0.

Statistically, it's T Wilson but Bray has put up some verrr nice numbers as well.
No. Tyler leads in every statistical category. More tds, more yards, less INTs, more yards per game, higher completion %... etc.
Currently, it's no contest, but that can change in the next four games.
