Tua, he was robbed of the trophy in 18.

. I think it is more of him struggling in the NFL. Notice all of the Peytons and Watsons. I think the nfl is ultimately how we determine if the award was given to the right qb..

Both were legends in college dude. And Peyton losing was one of the most controversial years ever when it happened, long before he was an NFL QB. Watson just kind of got unlucky in 2016 with the year Lamar Jackson had. He would have won most years with that season

Real mystery is how Tommie Frazier was snubbed as a Heisman winner and Crouch pulled it off.

Yeah, love Eddie George as a Titan but him winning over Frazier was a joke too. Not that George didn’t have a ridiculous season, but what Frazier and Nebraska did to teams was almost criminal in 95

The 90s are recent memory. If they aren't to you then your opinion is irrelevant to this discussion

I'm middled aged and I remember the 90's, but 20 plus years ago is a distant memory. Age may have its privileges but to discount somebody else's because of it is also called being an arse.

D. Watson was better than Lawrence by a large margin.

Thought Tua should have won in 18 but Peyton was the biggest miss.

Also, how is Trevor a “generational talent” with Watson and Luck being in recent memory. Very good QB, but generational?? Hold the phone

Which is in of itself kind of the wrong way to look at it, because the Heisman is supposed to be for the best player in a season of college football, not the best future NFL player, but people will always do that
