the vol fans where ready to run butch out of town after that lose to Arkansas. That win against Georgia saved him. For some reason vol fans hold Georgia up as a top 10 type program this year.

I see him leaving for the nfl before they fire him.

We know Bret is safe as long as he wins 6 games.

He won 7 this year... He did what Florida couldn't this year and that was beat lsu at lsu

Had a long talk with a Tennessee backer this week.
Butch is making them happy. They know it was a mess.
But the expectations are high. I asked how high? He said beat two of three: Florida, Bama and Georgia.

Unless the vols qb learns how to pass I don't see them beating bama or Florida

Les Miles is on here because of the unrealistic expectations lsu fans have for that program.
Understood. And by LSU fans, in that context, you're talking about 20-30% of the fanbase. Between 70-80% of the fanbase admire the man for averaging more than 10 wins per season.(Imagine that). The Rantbase is not a good way to judge the heat on Les Miles. A week ago there was $40,000,000.00 lined up to back up the Miles for Jimbo transition. The excuse of the lack of perception of the public regarding state vs private funding for athletics is just smoke and mirrors. The huge outcry of hundreds of thousands of fans in protest of what was going on is by far the biggest reason that Les remains the HC. Ten wins, with or without a win over 'Bama next season will keep him in place. Heck, could have still had 10 this season without the rain-out. 10 or more wins and the over-due victory over 'Bama will get him another contract extension.

Obviously Les Miles as he was nearly fired this year

Probably Gus. Bad D with a bad O is not a formula for keeping a job.

I'm still not convinced Les Miles won't be fired before January.
However, the first SEC Coach to be fired in 2016 will be Muschamp when he strangles a ref to death on the sidelines in Columbia.

Les without a doubt. He was basically fired this season, ffs.

How about Fat Bertrand. He hasn't underperformed. Oh wait I forgot losing to Toledo and going 3-5, 4-4 in the SEC I s considered a win for Arkansas.

Well if he's done that bad and beaten LSU the past two years what does that say about LSU
Posted on 12/4/15 at 4:23 pm to Pbhog
Not Lyle. UT can't afford to fire him. Hell he punched a player and they couldn't fire him because they are so broke.

Butch? They are talking about giving him a raise. He is not on the hot seat whatsoever next year
