Who finished First? What is USCe's record without Clowney this year? What's A&M's record without Johnny?
So... Teo>Clowney, he finsihed 2nd in the heisman..
Not being smart, but I don't understand the last questions. Didn't both have identical records?

Clowney,and not even close.He's a "can't miss" pick.

Clowney and don't even have to think about it.
Clowney is the real deal. He isn't riding one fluke year.

I guess if you take away every good game, he did have bad year. I mean other than Michigan, Clemson (who is just another ACC team like Wake right? I mean who have they beaten lately?)Georgia, Arkansas, etc. etc. he really had a mediocre year.

Some post are so stupid you don't even bother replying.
Some post are so stupid you actually laugh at the level of dumbassery on display. Your post is one of those.

JFF voters are arguing one thing, and the Clowney voters are arguing another. Let me see if I can state this in a way that makes everyone happy.
Positions. Which position do you put the most focus on? QB or DE? Which position is most important?
Player Value and Certainty. Which player is more likely to be consistent at the position now and at the next level?
If I am going for Certainty, it's not even close, I go for Clowney.
If I can only get one good player at either position, I pick JFF, not because he is JFF (well, the Aggie in me would), but because I need to secure the most important position.
So, recap. Clowney if I need a first-round pick that is a sure winner. JFF if I have to chose between a QB and a DE.

College - I'll take a heisman winning QB leading my team.
Pro - I'd pick Clowney all day every day.

That's a good way to state it. I would say it like this:
I would pick Clowney because he is Clowney. I would pick JFF because I need a good QB. I would also pick Aaron Murray, AJ, and may be even Connor Shaw, Jeff Driskel, and James Franklin.
In sum, JFF doesn't have exclusivity. Clowney does.
Is that what everybody is saying?

No. I'm saying Manziel is exclusive.
Clowney in 2012 = Moore in 2012
Manziel in 2012 = ??

Aaron Murray. Check his numbers. He's a badass.
Nobody can keep plays alive like JFF, but the reason I would take him over Clowney is strictly because of the position need. If I have to chose between JFF and Mark Farris or Clowney and some slow, worthless POS, we can do things to work around a weak DE position.
If I am set at all positions and I get to add a player without giving anything else up, I take Clowney.
That's what I think most people are saying.

Yeah, Cam did have a better year in 2010.
Johnny had more stats but Cam got the hardware.
