Not! USC and Arky are perfect fits for the SEC, especially compared to the weenies and the nerds. Tulane is a great fit for C-USA and Tech is a great fit for the ACC. Everybody is right where they belong.

Georgia Tech maybe; but how exactly would Tulane help the SEC?

The Old
Those are some old rivals for Alabama. Hell, our fight song references Tech.

I'd choose the Big 12.
Wait a minute, wrong question...

If I had my way I'd have South Carolina and Ga Tech.
Tech would help in basketball, baseball, and their golf team used to be good. I donno any more.

Tulane being in in SEC would allow them to recruit New Orleans,Houston, and East Texas. A good academic school appeals to many kids. It would also help the academic reputation of SEC.Tulane can compete with the money provided by new TV contracts.

PHUCK GT. The wanted to be the ND of the South in the 1960's and left the SEC. Screw them let the Piss Jackets stay in the ACC and get beat by UGA 8 times every decade. Did I say Phuck GT?

I'm happy the way it is. No way I want Tulane back in the SEC.

You think playing 1 or 2 games a year on Jefferson-Pilot would make a difference?

We couldn't get rid of Miss State and maybe Vandy? At least Arkansas and SC show up a good bit of times to actually play SEC football. I wouldn't mind Southern Miss or GA Tech being in the SEC, Tulane...meh....not so much(rent a win)

Arkansas has won National Championships since being in the SEC, so in affect, Arkansas makes the SEC better imo

What can I say -- I was an adult in 1997.

While we're talking, if the Big 12 would get rid of Iowa State, and move Oklahoma State to the North Division, I'd be all for us joining the Big XII South.

GT replace arky, and anyone who has ever driven to fayettville knows why.

No,SEC has made Arky better. Those recruits on '94 team were signed when ya'll were SWC. There was some question about circumventiing JC rules if I'm not mistaken.Arky benefits more from being in SEC than vise versa. FSU was first choice, but Bowden wanted no part of SEC.
