Need more context. What sport? Do Texas A&M/Missouri get to participate? What is WhatIfsports?

Football

Yes on A&M and Mizzou

It's a website that allows you to sim matchups from past years. example I could sim 2010 Auburn against 2019 LSU

2009 or 2011 Alabama wins. No need to do a bracket

Obviously the one that went 15-0 against one of the toughest schedules in history. The best CFB team of all time, LSU 2019.

Nope. 2001 Vols and (sadly) there isn't a close second.

Final Four would be clearly be:

Alabama - 2011
Auburn - 2010
LSU - 2019
Florida - 2008

Outside shot of Texas A&M - 2012 being in there. They were probably the best team in college football by the end of the year. In the end the rosters of the other 4 top to bottom are just too good.

Finals would be:
LSU - 2019
Florida - 2008

That was tough not going Bama 11, but in the end the Alabama offense just wasn't good enough.

Champion:
LSU - 2019

Admitted bias, but that team was going to score 40 on the 85 Bears.

Not sure how I overlooked 2001 Tennessee. Thanks for pointing that out.

You say that but that 2011 South Carolina squad was as well balanced to deal with LSU as anyone. Bad arse organic pass rush that could overload any Oline in football. Athletic dual threat game managing QB who made 0 mistakes, ever. Bad arse running back with quality back ups. And Spurrier who we all know can call a game better than anyone. Not to mention look at that secondary, theres 4/5 future NFL DB's on that backside. Say what you want but JUNGLE BOY SWAG would have put at least one of your receivers in a neck brace. Big Dick Joe never had to deal with Clowney after him either.

Look at it unbiased, I thing it'd be a helluva game.

Sorry I forgot to mention Alshon Jeffery, Ace Sanders, Bruce Ellington and Damere Byrd at Wide Receiver.

That team was loaded with talent and easily was a natty champ team under any other good coaching staff.
