As of now among the big 3 in Florida only Miami appears to be on course to be in the playoff in the next 2-4 years. Cristobal is recruiting like a maniac and they're making huge facility upgrades. I think Miami will get a new stadium or they'll start packing their current stadium. This is why at this point Miami is the hottest program in Florida right now and I think a more attractive candidate for SEC expansion than FSU.

Trying to think this out like a game of Risk. Miami is a huge market but private school and has been a bad team for 20 years. FSU is public but has been down for the last five years but had a better better run this century with not as good of market.
I think you take FSU but as a need I think taking Virginia and a NC school and grabbing two more states is probably more important.

FSU should have been one of the first two. Bowden was afraid of playing with the big boys back then. The one time I agreed with Pat Dye.
