No Saban?

No, simply because he lost 3 or more games every year he was here (2000-2004), except 2003; although he did win a NC that year. Had he stayed, he probably would have been deserving.

Dietzel also not only won a NC, but brought LSU into the big time in the 50's and early 60's.

Miles has averaged 10 wins a year for 9 years, and has won 6 bowl games, been in 3 SECCGs, winning 2, and been in 2 BCSNCGs, winning 1.

Saban did a lot for LSU but Miles has accomplished a lot more on the balance. I don't want to sell a short man short but he only won 10 plus games twice while at LSU. He was great but Dinardo was the one who started the turnaround, Miles has done more to maintain the program (destroy the innuendo that LSU was only a product of Saban) McClendon was a more distinguished coach and Paul Dietzel was the guy who won the first recognized NC in LSU history.

I don't think there's a LSU coach who should edge out the accomplishments of the great players in LSU history. I suppose that could change were Miles to win one or two more NCs or several more SEC championships.

Saban: 1 BCS title, 2 SEC titles, 2 BCS bowl wins
Miles: 1 BCS title, 2 SEC titles, 2 BCS bowl wins

The guy that got fired started the turnaround?

Edit: I can understand why y'all wouldn't have Saban on there, but at least be honest about it.
