And tell me, pray tell what Mettenberger has done with 95% of the defenses with a pulse?

Mett is getting extremely under rated on here. He had 4 bad games-UF USC TAMU and Clemson.

The three game UF USC TAMU stretch the oline was a complete and utter disaster. Our projected 1st round LT tore up his knee, starting RG got a concussion, and 1st team all SEC starting RT had personal issues and quit the team. All of this occurred during this stretch. Remarkable went 2-1 during it.

We had a 6th year senior with glass knees as his LT and true freshman as his RT.

Clemson-the team had quit because the SEC screwed us with the Peach bowl.

Hes not Joe Montana and has trouble connecting on the deep ball, but we return all the WRs+add some height at the position. The o line should be healthy and last years downfall is this years blessing as we reap the harvest of our young guys being SEC battle tested and approved.

As long as Hill gets reinstated the offense is going to be very dangerous this season.

Against the three good defense we both played LSU outrushed UGA in all games. But yeah.

Like I said. LSU returns more production to the WR position.

Tigers are bringing in four 4* WRs themselves.

Looking at y'all's stats looked like you don't use the TE's much they only had about 15 catches...

UGA's TE's were an integral part of our passing attack last year with 35 catches, 583yds & 5Td's....

Looks like y'all's RB's had about 40 catches vs UGA's RB's with 32....

FWIW....

We are talking about offense. Yards are what show an offense moving the ball.

Ok. We'll show you. Seems every prognosticator in the country is sold on georgia's offense. But shoot. What do they know? You obviously know more than they do.

I'm not saying LSU's offense is good I'm just saying lets hold off on calling 2013 UGA offense great.

Just so I'm clear on this. uga's two freshmen RBs will improve in their second year (now here's that BIG HAIRY) but, those EIGHT freshmen in the LSU two deep on defense won't?

What about those three freshmen that started on the LSU "O". Will they improve any?

Not sure I agree with that....but it is only speculation either way. Richt has a way of making strange calls at the end of games....at least two that I can think of. But, Myles has been known to make a "HUH?" call now and again, too. Biggest difference is sometimes it works out for Myles....sometimes not. (Clemson)

Yeah miles only has as many SEC titles as Richt in less time.
Also out of all SEC coaches with 100 games coached Miles has the higher win % of any one. Higher than Saban, Bear, and spurrier and for sure your underachieving Richt.

I don't think there's anyone on here that's saying this.

So, you are saying your team quits? Ouch. Don't think I would have said that. Every team has injuries. When YOUR team has injuries it just means we are underestimating your guys. When Georgia players were injured it only proved the innate superiority of LSU receivers. You guys are a trip!

Are all of those 3991 yards returning yards by WRs or is that another mistype?

You're comparing a season worth of stats. That brings in schedule to the arguement. Surely you don't think all those Tex Tech teams had the best offense in the country.

Look I like UGA. My stepfather is from savannah. Just wait on calling your offense great.

I'm sure they will. I'm sorry. Where did I or anyone else say that they wouldn't? or that the LSU defense would not be tough? Seems to me the only people talking about those things are LSU people.

You can cherry pick games, or you can look at the season as a whole...

Nope. Those are total receiving yards. Now let me ask you something. Which is better....two receivers with 1500 yards or 6 receivers with 2000 yards? When a running back, or a TE catches a pass they are receivers, are they not? Georgia did not throw to their running backs that much last year. Georgia had by far more yards receiving than LSU. You do the math.

Yes the team due to poor leadership that is gone to the draft quit. Montgomery stated in interviews with pro teams he took plays and games off.

This is why we are glad to lose some of those players. They had their time and their moments, but after the Bama loss their time was done. It was time for them to move on. They protected themselves and not the team.

Yes. However due to the SEC scheduling office the majority dont have to worry about having 3/5 of their oline leave during a 3 week stretch that of the two best teams in the east and the Heisman winner that all combined for 31 wins.

This. Les Miles is significantly bet...wait a minute. WTF? Miles is sure as hell a lot better than Richt at bitching and moaning about his schedule. Grow a pair, Les.
