I think most sane college football fans would say that Johnny Manziel and AJ McCarron were better quarterbacks than Zach Mettenberger in 2013
Not even a mention of the SEC's leader in career completions, attempts, yards, and touchdowns.

We were discussing SEC West quarterbacks only, douche.

As of right now I'd have to say Arkansas.

LSU fans were ecstatic about Mettenberger's 2013 season and rightfully so. Among LSU quarterbacks, it was second only to Rohan Davey's 2001 season and slightly ahead of Jamarcus Russell's 2006 season.
I don't give a damn about Johnny Manziel, Nick Marshall, AJ McCarron, or anyone else. At LSU, the priorities, in order, are to play sound defense, run the ball down your opponent's throat, and make plays in the passing game.
So when a 2500 yard passing year in 2012 is followed by a 3000 yard passing year in 2013, we're going to get damn excited. Had a few unfortunate snafus not occurred, those could have been championship years.

"Unfortunate snafu" =/= tossing three picks against a beleaguered Ole Miss defense

in 2012, LSU couldn't score a TD against UF after leading 6-0 at half time and chief blew the lead late in tiger stadium to alabama.
if LSU hangs on against bama who knows what they would have done

Honestly I could see a 3 way tie for last this year.

Looks like wishful thinking, oh well, I'll just name a few offensive weapons you seam to be oblivious to, Jojo, Reed, Hawkins, Hatcher, Cornelius, Duwop, Morgan, Edwards, Henry, Sprinkle, RWIII, Collins, Walker, and not to mention the best TE class of Fr that all could start at any SEC team, but ARK. and will still see some playing time O'Grady, Gregg, Canterell. So go on and expound wishful thinking about how pitiful the Hogs are and don't have any talent, when they beat the s@#t out of teams this year, like they shut out Ole Miss, and LSU last year and oh by the way, we have a better D this year,so see ya a the whooping when we play this year.

the best way to beat them is if they are gutted with injuries like last season. who knows, but it is quite bizarre.
And yet we still couldn't beat y'all in Oxford.

You know as well as I that you can toss everything of note out when the Egg Bowl is played.
Damian Williams led y'all to three quarters of a victory in 2013 for god's sake.
