No, it's 11-1 with a meaningless bowl game win. Sorry, but that's Dan's ceiling.

Neither guy is good enough to get the job done.

Pruitt has a bad temper and Mullen has the charisma of a brick. I don't think either will be the answer.

And you know this how? His one year at UF where he did significantly better than Saban at his first year at Bama or Smart at his first year at Georgia? Makes perfect sense.

He only won 10 once.
Mississippi State has three ten win seasons since 1940.
One ten win season from 2000 to 2019.
Doing it any number of times during a period where LSU, Auburn and Alabama had all won National Titles during or just before his tenure is absolutely impressive.
Kirby can't even get a winning record against the West at Georgia with top ten recruiting classes, he'd be lucky to even break even at Mississippi State.

Your obsession with Florida Gators is unrivaled, congrats.

Dude has over achieved everywhere
Utah - Developed a revolutionary offense(Meyer creates him with most of the creation as well), made Alex Smith the first overall pick. Helped lead them to a perfect season.
Florida OC- Two national titles. Developed a Heisman winning QB. His offenses haven't been matched since at UF.
Miss State HC- 2nd winningest coach in school history. First coach to get them to the number 1 overall spot in the AP Poll. Developed Dak a NFL starter and the QB with the most rushing yards in SEC history.(Fitz). Only coach to ever go to eight straight bowls at Miss State.
Florida -Took over a 4 win team, finished top ten with 10 wins and a New Years Day Bowl win. Developed Franks to a 31 TD season(most since Tebow, the guy he developed) despite Franks being considered the worst QB in the SEC last year.
Yea. Clearly his history of underachieving indicates he will suddenly fail, when he has done nothing but set records and over achieve his entire career.
There is zero reason to believe he can not succeed at UF. Besides you not wanting him too. His history says he will.

At MSST:
To find a ten win season you have to go to 1999.
To find six bowl wins you have to go back to 1963.
To find seven winning seasons you have to go back to 1992.
To find three 9+ win seasons you have to go back to 1974.
He was only there for 9 years, and replicated decades worth of achievements. People have this inflated view of Mississippi State for what he made them and to judge him based on his tenure there negatively is simply fallacious.

Agreed. Once again it is likely because Georgia fans are new to college football. So they started watching two years ago and thought Miss State was elite..not the 2nd worst program historically in the conference.
They are new...so its forgivable. Anyone who has watched football for more than a decade knows how good of a job he did.

Yep. And that 10 win at State is a National title at UF.
What kind of asinine logic is that? Do you watch sports, or perhaps have a brain for that matter?
10 wInS At MisS StatE = NaTTy at UF... because what?
Have fun getting stomped again by UGA.

Miss State 3 all time 10 win seasons
Florida 3 national titles
See how two and two go together when you actually know college football?

Both get R U N N O F T, before they are allowed enough time...
Mississippi States only SEC Title came more than half a century before the first for Florida.

Mullen was 33-39 in the SEC at State. If he betters that at Florida, it may mean that he averages 5-3 in the conference. Will Florida administration and fans accept that? will they accept 6-2? Neither will win the East.
