over 2011 season? Bama and LSU would have to go undefeated for this. Hogs will have to win all the 'other' games and split LSU/Bama to slightly improve. UT/UF looks like they haven't really ironed things out and on any particular track. USC has to beat LSU to slightly improve. I think it might be a tossup between UGA (favorable schedule) and AU (no one is talking about them and their extremely young team now has a another years experience). If there is a 'surprise' in SEC I vote for AU.

UF will not be most improved. In fact, they may be only marginally better than last year. Same horrific OL, no proven QB, no dynamic RB, average WR corps. DL can be pushed around by physical teams, average LBs.

Didn't feel like reading the whole thread, so siap but. Jefferson only started against Alabama in 09,10, and the 2011 BCSNCG. Which would make him 1-2 vs Alabama as a starter. But, who really gives a frick.... Oh, guess I should respond to the topic. I'll go with Tennessee as well, barring injury. Tennessee reminds me of 2004 Alabama. Talent at skill positions, but one injury can frick the entire season. Plus, Dooley is on his last leg.

I just feel sorry for LSU. Tigers could have had maybe the greatest season in college football history then lay an egg at the end. Must have sucked to be an LSU fan that day.

You guys got curb stomped by JJ like the douche at the bar.

JJ looked like an All American against you guys.

Hey, but you can always live through Bama's win.

every year in the sec is crazy and surprising. last year, who would have thought auburn would have done so well. on the flip side, who would have thought the east would have been so incredibly horrific?

some team will pop out and have a great couple of games and surprise everyone. tennessee and ole miss would be the easy picks, as they do not have a long way to go to improve.

i'm interested in what vandy is going to do.

Klongdawg nobody is denying Miss St. their 1 SEC West crown if that is what you are getting at. By the way that was 1998 not 1999. That still gives State one more than Arky's total, which is zereaux.

You do realize Arkansas won the SECW in 2006 and played UF in the championship game, right?

Well, yes they won it in 2002, because the NCAA wouldn't allow Alabama to win it. But nevertheless, Arkansas has won it, 1995,2002,2006.

You are right. Worst day I can ever remember being a Tiger fan. However, you are begining to give us LSU fans a reason to look foward to next season. Mike loves him some Ham.

Mizzou, because they're in the East and they get to play teams like Florida and Georgia.

Pretty sure he was 2-2 vs. Arkansas. LSU lost in 2008 and 2010.

Should have lost in 2009, but got some help from the SEC officiating mafia.

Arkansas has won the West 3 times since expansion 1.0.

Maybe everyone forgot since we go blown out the first two times, but played a good game vs. eventual champ UF in 06.
