Hopefully Charlie Strong won't be snatched up too quickly.

I know the Gruden rumors are out there and Haslam, Thunder and co are "supposedly" ready to open the checkbook. Is Gruden in play iyo?

I hope not. I like Strong I don't want to watch him fail at some has-been program.

Has anyone actually watched Louisville play? I guess I'm the only one that thinks they look like a Houston nutt coached team. Plus the guy seems to have all the emotion of a slug. I just don't get it.

I think it's being pretty optimistic at best, but he will certainly be the top target.

I think that the Vols will hire Petrino or try awfully hard to get him. Fans and presssure to return to winning days will dictate it. I am serious.

I don't think Smart would be a terrible hire. However, I do feel comfortable saying Tennessee will do no worse than Smart.

Tennessee will not consider Petrino. That is a fact.

no fricking way. the taste of Kiffin's ATM on the Vols is still lingering. no way they go with someone with a checkered past like Petrino.
