Just looked it up ... he's 73 and this stroke was in May or so of 2009. He needs INTENSE Speech therapy ... sounds like he's got apraxia ... he knows WHAT he wants to say but it won't come out the way he wants as he can't find just the right words.

I don't think it is a given that this is Lee's last season - but he and his doctors and the ESPN folks will probably discuss it during the off season. I would think that the travel week in and week out would have an impact on him by being an energy drain, and that - added to the early wakeup time to get dressed, on set, made up, etc. has an impact on him.
