Were they provided to this Robertson guy for his book?, Mars for the Lawsuit?, or NCAA for the investigation? Who was Freeze originally providing the info to?

If it was the NCAA, then why was he allowed to redact personal numbers? If it's on a business phone, then nothing should be personal

ETA: I know they're available via FOIA. But if they were acquired that way by whoever, then how were any redacted?

Obtained by Mars for Nutt's lawsuit, then passed to Rosebowl. Rosebowl found the hooker call and told Mars.

I think it was the lawsuit and Freeze redacted private calls and missed that one. Robertson finds it and reported back to the lawyer who in turn contacted the Reb lawyers.

I could be wrong.

Makes sense. Then when Mars tells OM, they go back looking at the non-redacted ones and find "the pattern" & proceed to throw ole boy to the wolves. This also makes sense why he ain't even arguing about the "conduct unbecoming" (or whatever u wanna call it) clause in his contract. "Don't fight us & we'll keep the rest of your mess under wraps"
