This. Tell your recruiter you want 17-series. I'd recommend 17E, but I'm biased.

Except every time for the next 30 years when the "SEC Single Game Passing Record of 623 Yards Was set by MSU QB KJ Costello against the Defending National Champions LSU in Death Valley" infographic or AFLAC Trivia Question comes up.

He's not on a witch hunt, he's trying to find a way for "The Network" to implement a similar plan. Think of it in terms of imitation being the greatest form of flattery.
re: Who has the best and worst logo in our conference?

Don't know why people shite on a Carolina's logo. Before I was a student there, I thought it was one of the better and more recognizable logos in the conference. Busy, perhaps, but not a Nikefied shitburger like Angry Smokey or Fat Uga.
Not crazy about Miss State's current M/ribbon. Preferred the Sherrill-era MSU. Baseball MS is fire, though.
The irony: the Sherrill-era interlocking MSU logo was not owned by State, but by Nike. When Croom came in State switched over to Russell and gone was the "MSJ" logo.
I always liked the old "Flying M" logo, but that's just out of some weird nostalgia.
On State's baseball logo, years ago I ran across some guy wearing a hat with that logo and started talking to him, assuming he was a State fan. Turns out, he didn't even know what hat he was wearing, he just bought it because he thought the logo was cool.
re: When does an Ole Miss fan start digging into State phone records?

Yes, but you're (lulz) missing one important part: Nutt's attorney sent Rosebowl the records in the first place.

Your premise is wrong to begin with. A State fan didn't start the phone records digging, Houston Nutt did.
re: Ole Miss wins one: Stay in Ethics Commission Demand
Posted by MaroonOldCrow on 7/25/17 at 3:25 pm
It sounds like all the boosters except the one that filed for the stay will be named:
"The order says that a temporary stay of the Ethics Commission order allows all parties to present their arguments. Ole Miss must provide a copy of the records "responsive to Mr. Robertson's public records request" by Friday. The booster names are to be remain unredacted. Well, all booster names but John Doe's. The redaction of John Doe's name will continue until the August 15 hearing."

re: What am I missing about why Ole Miss is going to get hammered?
Posted by MaroonOldCrow on 7/25/17 at 2:09 pm
The NCAA has been pretty impotent over the last several years and every school out there knows it, so they need to make an example of someone. OM, from a penalty standpoint, is the wrong program in the wrong place at the wrong time.
re: In all this Ole Misdial excitement, has anyone checked on Stingray?

I imagine he's been doing his best Farmer Fran impersonation for the last few days.
Hope you weren't eating lunch.

re: Who were the phone records originally prepared for?
Posted by MaroonOldCrow on 7/25/17 at 10:52 am
Obtained by Mars for Nutt's lawsuit, then passed to Rosebowl. Rosebowl found the hooker call and told Mars.
re: Why does Mississippi State get so involved in other school's business?

Maybe you should ask XenaReb that question.

All of their Recruiting Titles.
re: Tree rat season starts Saturday
Posted by MaroonOldCrow on 9/26/16 at 9:09 am
Started August 15th here in GA. Of course, they all freaking disappeared as soon as season started. In the limited woods time I've had so far, I haven't seen a single damn squirrel. Seen three deer, two rabbits, and two turkeys, and a gazillion doves though.

Let us know if you have any issues with that 15-22. Appleseed has banned them for the time being.

Got barn cats for those. Vet bills for a snake-bitten horse get mighty steep.
To clarify for the serpent-lovers: if it had not have been within such close proximity of the horses, I wouldn't have bothered him. "Good" snakes I leave alone; ones that can literally kill my livestock (or cost me thousands of dollars) and are close enough to them to be an existential threat die.

Had a little run in with NoShoulders, Jr. today while going out to feed the horses. About two feet long, with two buttons.
