It's Cam, easily. It's not even debatable. That 2010 Auburn team probably loses at least 5 games without him.

they were a whisker away from losing 5 games WITH him. I think like 6 or so of their 14 games that year were decided by 1 possession.

6 games if you count an 8 point win as a one possession game. 7 if you count the bowl game.

Cam was the difference between 4, 5, or 6 losses and an undefeated national championship. We came back from 10, 14, 17, and 24 point deficits because our D was so bad. Teams would come out, run up and down the field scoring on our D, then Cam would get pissed and absolutely destroy the other team, almost by himself at times, running off 2, 3, 4 TDS in a row.

exactly right. Crazy how much difference 1 guy can make.

Cam was delightful. No. No. He was brilliant. No, no, no, no. There is no word to describe his perfection, so I am forced to make one up. And I'm going to do so right now.

Cam Newton single handily won a national championship.

Somewhere between Cam and Herschel with the lean towards Cam. Cam was in-human. Looked like an NFL player playing with high schoolers.

Ingram, Bo and Tebow could put a team on their back and win though but not like Cam or Herschel.

Manziel was freakishly good for one year, so he could be in that 2nd pack too. The rest I never saw play though my dad was very high on Billy Cannon.

He put up over 5100 yards his second year too.

But Cam is definitely the answer

Manziel is s bit overrated. You’d be amazed at how many Aggies from his years played and are still playing in the NFL. Cam takes 2012 A&M to the nattie, Johnny leads 2010 auburn to a 9-3 year

Cam was an absolute monster, but I wouldn't say Manziel was overrated. aTm did have some really good players on that team, but the Aggies were 7-6 the year before in the Big 12. Manziel stepped in as a redshirt freshman and led them to an 11-2 season (where they were only 8 points from being undefeated) and a #5 final ranking in their first year in the SEC. They beat #1 Bama at Bama and Saban had no answer for him and then they ended the season by destroying a top 15 OU team in the Cotton Bowl.

He ran for 180+ yards and accounted for over 900+ total yards and 7 TDs in the two games he played against Bama. I think that says it all. LSU was the only team that somehow stopped him and the only team to beat them by more than 1 TD while he was QB.

Cam was the best, but he had been in Florida's system for a few years, then he played a year of JUCO before finally going to Auburn and leading them to the NC. He had some years on Johnny, but Johnny was legit.

But they got beat by teams they shouldn't have lost to. Dominant means you lead your team to meaningful wins. Maybe I was too used to seeing JF by the second season but I just didn't feel like he did much that was dominant in his second season.

Their defense was atrocious. I think they finished 111th in total D. aTm put up 40+ points against Auburn and Bama and lost both games.

Two of the four losses weren’t on him. Against Bama he racked up 562 yards and 5 TDs and against AU he racked up 502 yards and 5 TDs. Problem was the defense gave up 568 yards to Bama and 615 yards to AU.

Which season are y'all talking about? A&M had a top 25 defense in 2012. We shut JFF down in the second half and he played like arse against LSU.

2013. Yeah, in 2012, UF did squeak out a W against them in his first college game ever after aTm's first game was cancelled due to weather. Not exactly easy to play his 1st game ever against a UF team who had already played a game. The 2012 defense was good, the 2013 defense was atrocious.
