Tubberville? Look at this list of misfits since then:
Chizik, Malzahn, Harsin, Freeze. All of them either gimmicky, incompetent, or complete garbage humans, sometimes all 3 at once.

Malzahn was very classy and could outcoach Saban on gameday. Not sure why he is catching strays.

As an Alabama fan, you’re not wrong on Gus. He was always classy and his offense was nearly impossible to stop for several years.

The worst thing Gus ever uttered was one time he stooped down to highschool level bullentin trolling with the "we beat the dog crap out of them didnt we"

That's it. He ran a very clean program, his players dressed up with class on gameday, and he dealt with very little legal trouble. He regressed on offense, but if not for that he could've died with lifetime contract.

I saw Chizik on a plane about 3 months ago. He was flying with the regular folks. That’s all I got.

Hugh Freeze is an amazing story of a man finding his way back through redemption. A model citizen and man spreading kindness and humanity to all he comes across.

Every team should be so lucky to be a part of history of a man reborn through the fires of sin and now redeemed through forgiveness.

Now he can bring the Auburn program out of the doldrums and past few years of futility, and together they will both rise to the pinnacles of college football success, and everyone will respect and love Hugh Freeze.

the frick does that even mean?

Gus was proper in the sense that he didnt curse and was a good Christian man.

Every coach except Harsin has done a decent job at some point, either winning the SEC or a National Championship

Know how Auburn fans know things are trending the right way? When Alabama fans pollute the rant with pea brained posts like this that sounded well thought out to the poster when they were loaded up on Busch beer and ranch dressing.

it means a coach whos not a joke, a real coach with staying power and sustained success, who doesnt just outright suck, who doesnt rely on some gimmick system that eventually fails and they cant adapt, or who doesnt do stuff like hire escorts and lie to recruits about impending ncaa violations punishments

You need to check your history, do the names Mike Price or Mike DuBose ring a bell?

Gus.

Auburn was kind of dumb for firing him IMO.

who said they were proper coaches? They both sucked for different reasons, although both would have been upgrades over most of the Auburn coaches since tubberville
