...or was he guarding against a cutback?

It was Rambo, but he still made the play

Lacy proved that he wasn't just the guy who played behind Richardson and Ingram. He'll never reach the same heights as the formerly mentioned, but tonight he proved that he is a beast.

Is he a junior?

yes, future NFLer Rambo. To be fair though, I would've fained interest in the endeavor as well.

yep 90% chance he goes pro, even if a fourth rounder

he wont be a 4th rounder, could well be the first RB taken. Probably 2nd round

I think it would be in his best interest to go pro. There's nothing he can do next season to improve his draft stock. This year is a fairly weak draft class for running backs. He's being projected as the top back available. Bama is losing multiple starters on their offensive line next year. He should go pro.

Yeah if Lacy goes out and doesn't frick up at the Combine and Bama Pro Day he will probably be the first RB off of the board. He's actually faster than Trent and Mark when healthy, and he's got amazing vision and power. If he hadn't been injured early he'd probably lead all SEC RBs, if not all SEC players, in rushing yards. Still has had a beastly season though. If he leaves after this season he will have the SEC Career Yards Per Carry record.
