In 2024 when Auburn was in the process of going 8-22 and finishing dead last in baseball, not a single Auburn baseball fan could be located. Auburn fans argued baseball is a niche sport. Not nearly as important as basketball. Suddenly this year Auburn basketball sucks and it looks like Auburn baseball is legit and Auburn baseball fans are coming out of the wood work.
Weird.

That is a lot of work. I know that since the 2021 season, the last 5 complete seasons, Alabama’s conference record is 69-79. Not great. Auburn’s record over the same last 5 seasons is 68-81. Even worse.
In the last 5 seasons Alabama and Auburn have gone:
2025 AL: 16-14, AU: 17-13
2024 AL: 13-17, AU: 8-22
2023 AL: 16-14, AU: 17-13
2022 AL: 12-17, AU: 16-13
2021 AL: 12-17, AU: 10-20
Alabama baseball is mid. You implying that Auburn has been a baseball power recently is laughable.
Auburn’s 8-22 record in SEC play is the third worst of any team this decade.

Finally something a Bammer and a Barner can agree on! DeBoner get embarrassed with top 5 talent. Basketball team is loaded, starting PG gets busted for felony distribution. Baseball sucks. Is softball still good. Haven't looked into that lately.
Don't take this as a "kickem while their down". God know Auburn isn't exactly setting the world on fire, but I am optimistic about football and we aren't pulling former players out of the G league or shooting up the town anymore.
