Meaningless. They may have a dozen people show up. I bet UF fans will outnumber Missouri fans

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. We're talking about UF

OB, the problem starts with the University. They make it nearly impossible to follow. They're not on TV obviously but they're not even on radio outside of COMO. So us in KC and STL can't even listen to games. Very hard to capture a fanbase when you're not giving them anything to capture them with. Unless you want to sit at a computer for 2+ hours looking at gametracker.

The home slate does them no favors... Mizzou baseball fans (all 298 of them) are gonna have to watch that team get gang raped in Columbia over and over again this season... I say they win 2 of 3 in Athens.

I hope so as well. IMO the first thing they have to do is get the damn games on the radio in KC and STL. There are tons of baseball fans in the state, and we love listening to games, but we can't even listen online. Awareness has to be raised before we even worry about drawing crowds.

Also the stadium is a problem. Not many players are going to want to play in a High School looking stadium. Missouri State is a smaller school, smaller conference but they have a good baseball history. They even beat Southern Miss 5-1 this weekend. Same team Mizzou lost 3 games to.

MO State shares a stadium with Springfield Cardinals so their bound to get some good recruits that'll be able to play in a nice stadium.

How did Mizzou get Aaron Crow to come play for them ? Was he a Missouri fan growing up ? What was the connection there ? TIA

The SEC is as much a baseball conference as anything, and, and this is very important for Mizzou fans to understand, the SEC may be tougher in baseball than it is in football.

You slough-off baseball and be nonchalant and patronizing about it and the SEC will eat you up whether you are on the SECr or not.

Y'all need to get your little yankee asses in gear and serious about baseball and not embarrass the conference or fawk-up our conference RPI because we do compete against the PAC 12 and ACC every year for supremacy in the sport of college baseball.

And it better not be freezing cold or sleeting or snowing up there when we come to town for our series in March.

No idea. Think he grew up in kansas though and his sister went to kU. We have some good guys in the majors somehow. Scherzer, Crow, Kinsler are the biggest 3

The stadium is already in the works. I think there's little doubt that MoState has a better baseball program right now. Hasn't always been that way, but currently, yes.

I don't know the story on Crow, but Mizzou hasn't always been trash in baseball. Obviously, never been on the level of SC or LSU or half a dozen other SEC teams, but they have been competitive. Have had a few other names come through in relatively recent history. Kinsler and Scherzer off the top of my head. Those teams never won anything but they were competitive. The last few years has seen a drop off in talent IMO. Not sure of the reason, but horrendous timing with the move to the SEC.

Our Yankee asses are quite serious about baseball and probably as knowledgeable or more so than any part of the country. Maybe you meant to say "serious about college baseball". We won't fawk up your RPI any more than SC does to us in basketball.

And you probably will have snow/sleet/ice when you come here this year. That series is only a few weekends away and we have 6-8 inches of snow on the ground right now and supposed to get more this week. I've pulled my teams off of fields later in the year because I refused to tear up my boys arms playing 3 games in sleet.

Annnnd that's reason number one billion why y'all are a bad fit for this conference

"YANKEES" know more about baseball than they can dream of. I mean come on, Detroit, Boston, NYC, St. Louis, Philly, Chicago, Cincy, Minnesota. SEC players better get use to playing in the cold if they wanna play in the Big Leagues. Yes you'll see snow at BIG TIME baseball games. It gets cold in those cities in April and October. Lets not mention the AAA/AA teams up in "yankee" land.

They're not playing Ark? I thought they had the biggest rivalry in the SEC.
