USC's D played top notch but the game was much closer than it looked. What killed us is leaving Johnson in too long in the 5th leading to 5 runs.

Doubt it would've changed the outcome though. South Carolina was better than us at everything in that game.

I learned when I was 6 that you never take your first step in on a ball hit to the outfield. That was all I was getting at. Just a mental error, IMO.

Seriously- The Gamecocks look like they're about to run the table again, IMHO. I like what I see- they bring back wistful memories of LSU Baseball in the 1990s....Good stuff. I hope they win it all for the Three-Peat.
