I heard the same thing about Richardson before 2011. I don't know what the posters here were saying, but everywhere I looked said the same damn thing about Richardson.

Also, Zac Stacy will if one of the SEC's Big Three doesn't.

Spurrier gonna ride Latti like a rented mule again? If so, that's who I'd bet on.

I agree with this and catch a lot of shite for it. Lacy was a good second fiddle running back to Trent Richardson and that is all. He is not as great as some Bama fans want to think he is. If he breaks 1,000 yards this year, it is solely because of the offensive line. TJ Yeldon will be great.

Lattimore will lead the SEC in rushing if he doesn't get hurt again. Kid is a beast.

Everything is based on injuries of course...something we dont have crystal ball to see with.

My guess is Lattimore.

Truth is TRichardson is not a rb that comes along every day....he was a real bonafide stud...Lacey is good but not nearly as good as the gap between Ingram & Richardson.

Lattimore is a stud. UF, AU, UGA & UT will all be searching for solid running to keep their qbs upright. UGA fans will have you believe that with Crowell gone that they just plug in Marshall and everything will be fine...and thats not true. Hard for true frosh to start any position in the SEC from the getgo...rb is the easiest position to have a frosh start compared to others. Crowell had very hard time (as do most true frosh) picking up protection schemes and thats one reason UGA lost two early games last year....Murray was blitzed with the kitchen sink until Crowell started to catch on. Mizzou is waiting for UGA in early game...Samuel is pedestrian and they need true frosh to get carries.

Bama will run the ball....but will also throw a lot. Heres my guess for SEC finishes in team rushing:

1) LSU (with a bevy of backs)
2) S Carolina
3) Bama
4) Texas A&M
5) Arkansas (#1 offense in SEC in total yds)
6) Mizzou
7) UF
8) UGA (missing OL & RBs hurts)
9) Miss State
10) AU
11) Vandy
12) UK
13 Ole Miss
14) UT

Leoffler had 1400 yard rusher at Temple. AU will run a ton tis year and be Top 4.

SHOCKING!!!!

And,if not him, his backup. Every RB on Alabama roster > than all other RB's in SEC. Fact.

None at Lsu, too many running backs. Not enough carries.

Smart money is Lacy. Zac stacy is a good choice. My sleeper pick i stole in fantsay football is Gillisee.
