Basketball: Pat Riley, Issel, Mashburn, Davis and SGA.

Football: Blanda, Cobb, Art Still, Dermonti Dawson, Josh Allen (who has sacked the other one).

Sydney McLaughlin may have the most worldwide recognition of any of them.

Some of y’all don’t understand what iconic means.

Shaq.

Broadway Joe.

Bear Bryant.

Bo Jackson.

Herschel Walker.

Tim Tebow.

Stetson Bennett IV is not iconic and never will be. He’s about as iconic as Matt Mauck and Matt Flynn.

We’re talking about people who are universally seen as “larger than life” (so to speak)….not just liked by the local yokels.

The old, old school guys would say Clyde "Smackover" Scott.

Only two numbers have ever been retired by Arkansas football. Scott's number 12 and Burlsworth's 77.

And to those that don't know, that picture is from the late 90's not the 50's.
Old school badass.

Not terrible, but not what it could've been with a bigger budget and better talent. Story could've been told better without the weird old guy.
