Ingram, less touches, more yards, higher yard per touch. More versatile, faced tougher defenses, didn't have a futre #1 pick tossing the ball and probably = Olines, if not better at the time at Stanford.
TG faced more top 30 defenses. SO STOP SAYING INGRAM FACED TOUGHER DEF

Yeah Ingram was better than TG..and still is..
Huh? The whole world found out Ingram is made of glass.

Just off the top of my head, in the SEC alone, Peyton Manning, Kevin Faulk, and in 06 both DMAC and JaWalrus deserved it more than Troy.

Actually, JaWalrus was definitely better than Troy Smith, but it should have gone to DMAC. He was sharing the backfield with Hillis and Felix Jones, and Russell was passing to Buster Davis, Bowe, and Doucet. God that may have been the best LSU team ever.

Suh was snubbed in '09, not Gerhart.
And I'm actually not as opposed to Woodson winning it over Manning as I am resentful of the media's shameless cheerleading for Woodson the entire season.
Specifically Chris Fowler and ESPN's insulting comments toward Tennessee fans.

Remember that the late 1980's Big 8 included REALLY bad Kansas and Kansas State teams, not to mention Iowa State, and Texas Tech which were also doormats. they also faced Miami OH and Tulsa that year. Take away Barry Sanders and OSU was a 4-7, maybe 5-6 team IMHO. At best. Very mediocre team who peaked with the right two players at the right time (Sanders and of course Thomas the previous year).
That oSu team had all big 8 QB, Gundy, All American WR, H.L. Dykes, all American LB and DL. They were good. They had been bowling and the SR's were Johnson's recruits. They had won bowl year before. Barry wasn't the reason they were good, but he was part of it.

Disney gave that award to Woodson. Jackson and Griese were at every Michigan game, it also helped they were unbeaten. Manning deserved it though.

Ingram faced tougher defenses.
Below are the rankings of the defenses faced for comparison. Bama's opponents are on the left, Stanford's is on the right, with the rankings by each:
#3 Texas ----------------- #13 Arizona St
#4 Florida --------------- #25 Arizona
#12 Va Tech -------------- #32 UCLA
#21 Ole Miss ------------- #35 Oregon
#22 Tennessee ------------ #40 USC
#24 South Carolina ------- #46 Oregon St
#26 Lsu ------------------ #71 California
#54 Kentucky ------------- #75 Wake Forest
#58 Miss St -------------- #79 Washington
#68 Auburn --------------- #86 Notre Dame
#89 Arkansas ------------- #109 San Jose St
#97 North Tx ------------- #120 Washington St
Don't you feel like the dumbass now?

I know. If anyone got screwed, it was Suh. That Heisman vote told me that a Def player would never win it again. Suh had the most dominate season , in the last 20-30 years, and was snubbed.
It was outrageous, let's name the best 20 college football players from the last 20 year years. Suh makes that list, and he is probably top 5. Mark Ingram doesn't make that list at all.

Correct.

I know he is out of the time by 3 yrs, but the Rocket was snubbed IMO. He was the most exciting explosive player in country. He single handedly changed games.

You really can't include the bowl games for either because the Heisman was awarded previous to the game.

I was agreeing w/you... BTW
