Skip Bertman is the best coach in SEC baseball history. Who is the second greatest SEC coach in baseball history? I think with the win today, Tim Corbin might have earned that title. Ray Tanner is probably the only person who could contend with Corbs. or is it Manieri? O'Sullivan? Polk?

Polk gets very little credit but it was his programs that jump started the rise of SEC baseball. Then came Skip & I have to give Corbin a lot of credit too as the Vandy Athletic Dept. was literally nothing before his arrival.

He had way more talent for forever while he was at State and never won a national title. Polk was a good coach but him not winning a title with the talent and support he had shows he was good but not really great.

He’s the Bo Schembechler of college baseball

He may be second but it’s not because he won an SECT title today
