There are a lot of big talkers and snake oil salesmen that are probably going direct to players and not through schools with pie-in-the-sky offers.
As to Addison, he is allegedly not pissed at USC as much as a potential NIL deal where he did not read or understand the fine print that it was not frontloaded.

Some teams (Bama & UGA) do the right thing in recruiting. Others (SC and ATM) don’t.

Even Bama and UGA have boosters going rogue at times that may offer some shady NIL deals to recruits that are not worth the paper on which they are written.
