Oh STFU. Y’all have the best starting Freshman kicker in the SEC, my son did y’all a favor.

He is always very sharp and engaging and goes out of his way for my son and my family. Sends me videos of my son working out on protein pancake Saturdays for example. His time in Lafayette really shaped his personality and his GM is from BR…they’re a southern feeling crew with deep Saban and Belichick ties. Everyone around the facility loves him and the place has a great vibe…and it’s just not about him all of the time. I truly believe the current staff around my son can help him go pro. That’s all I really GAF about.

I mean feelings and personalities are nice and all but he's .500

Yall had shite facilities and you weren’t paying players under the table like everyone else…because yall were Florida. Just blue blood idiots who thought you deserve to be number 1 just because. Still fricking do. Still fricking do!

You have facilities and have paid some great players and you have a coach pointing yall in the right direction. The schedule this year and last year is donkey dicks…who fricking agreed to that? Literally no school could make the playoffs with that shite. Look at Ohio State’s schedule…look at yours.

I would keep things as is while you have Lagway…or you’re going to lose him and all the momentum yall have built. I was at the Ole Miss game last year. Not many teams could have kept them, with the golden boy at QB and the golden idiot on the sideline, out of the playoffs like yall did. Be happy with what you have…it could get worse.

Just a weird thing to simp this hard for a .500 coach.

My son was the most accurate kicker in the country, but was 25-40 in high school…he had an abysmal high school team and never the same snapper and holder more than a few games, he was fricked in the head on live operations. Arkansas needed someone to come in in the spring and start day 1 of the fall. Son went to an all boys school that simply didn’t offer early graduation. Also, my son was 6’2” and weighed in at UF at 154 lbs. He just wasn’t physically or mentally prepared for the task.

Scott is a physical specimen who graduated early and has been on your campus since January. Scott did not miss out of the 20 something kicks at tryouts and ended up #1 in the country with Kohls (started there too, when. The first rankings came out).

Literally yall got the best, most prepared kicker in the country. He’s probably the highest paid kicker in the country too…maybe outside of Michigan’s kicker who will be the top kicker drafted likely. Makes more than the Sr starter at UF.

My son gave that up for $500/mo and no guarantee to ever see the field. They’ll pay a highly touted transfer to come in and compete in the spring no doubt. He found a place to treat him as a project on scholarship and he was more comfortable with that…end of story.

I’m an LSU fan, I hope y'all suck for eternity. If LSU beats y’all 3 to 58 on September 14th I will be happy as a pig in shite.

I can’t wear LSU colors to the game, but I’m sure as frick not wearing UF colors either.

I'm not a Florida fan, I just find it weird that you say BK sucks with a .725 win percentage, but Napier is great at .500.

Florida has played marginally tougher schedules (average of #6, LSU at #11) but nothing drastic.

Because fans of SEC schools are like that…I think Kelly is an old goober who flashes the stupid left handed L. Makes me irrationally angry. We always seem to have a glaring weakness under him. No running game, poor defense, shite special teams…we criticize…it’s what fans do.

Yet you lash out at Florida fans for criticizing a .500 head coach.

I think they are delusional about who they are, which got them in this mess. I’d trade coaches with them…but I don’t speak for all LSU fans.

Look man, I like you and your insight. I'm very happy to have your son on the team. I'd love to meet up and have a beer before a game this season. But if anyone is delusional about UF's history, it's you.

I was born in 1987. UF was arguably the best team in the SEC for the first 2 decades of my life. Even in the "lost decade" of the 2010's, we went to 3 SEC championships and 4 NY6 bowls with mediocre coaches like Muschamp, Mac, and Mullen.

Even compared to those goobers, Napier has somehow taken us to a level not seen since the late 70's when my dad was at UF. Billy has the worst record as a head coach at UF since Raymond Wolf in the late 1940's, which was before my dad was born.

And for the record, I want the Billy to succeed. He seems like a good human being. I've been lucky enough to become friends with some of the player's families, and they all love Billy. All Gator fans know the best thing for the program is for Billy to continue the momentum from the end of last season and take the next step this year. But we have also seen this before, and you have to forgive us for not giving him the benefit of the doubt with his current track record.

nobody denies napier is a good guy

the question is: can he coach? can he build a team in this new world?

so far the answer is no, but he's got 1-2 years to prove us wrong

Their backups are not very good. At least from their message boards and what their fans are saying.

Does anyone in the SEC have a good backup QB? LSU has Van Buren who I would assume is one of the better backups but reports from camp are that he can't hit the broad side of a barn.

The age of good backups is kind of over. Kids go where they can start immediately, at best you get a guy who comes in with a senior QB so they think they can start next year.

Now when your starter leaves or sucks you just go pluck a new one from the portal.

This sport is kind of a mess

Went LSU for 8 years, y'all beat us 7 of those. I, painfully, know how good UF was in the 90s. The lack of facilities upgrades really set y’all back. Place is ridiculous now, where the players stay is crazy nice too.

Hells yea I’ll grab a beer.

Napier better have only 1 year to prove people wrong but 8-4 is a push that just gets him another year. 7-5 or worse and it shows he is just not a top SEC level coach and needs to go.
