This has absolutely nothing to do with LSU being sent to Oregon. LSU is on the other side of the bracket from the top SEC teams, so mentioning LSU in this topic makes no sense.

People that don’t like outcomes purposely engineered??

How are the outcomes engineered? Games still have to be played. There are 7 SEC teams on one side and 3 on the other. Big deal. If my team doesn’t win I couldn’t give two fricks how the rest of the conference does in the tournament or when they have to play each other and don’t know why you do either. This is a really weird thing to get upset about.

Sounds like you want them engineered but engineered to benefit the SEC.

This has zero to do with LSU being sent out west, I’m just glad they made it. It has everything to do with the NCAA finessing the matchups to make it next to impossible for two teams from the same conference to make the finals.

So again, why is this a problem in CFB?

Again, who cares. Why does it matter when those teams potentially play?

The NCAA is more corrupt than the govt.

Are you being purposefully obtuse? Did you not see where I said they did the same thing to the ACC and PAC. The ACC got the biggest shaft by having two top 16 seeds matched up in a possible super regional.

Who. fricking. Cares. One thing I’ve learned over the years is it doesn’t matter what the NCAA does, how they structure regions, where they send teams, and who gets paired up with who, people like you will complain. Whether it be two in-state or conference rivals playing each other in the supers or conference foes meeting in Omaha, someone is always going to be unhappy. But at the end if the day it doesn’t fricking matter. The team that plays the best will win.

Are you trying to compare a 4 team tournament that has a gillion more eyes on it to a 64 team tournament where the rankings are a shite ton more subjective. It’s called blow back.

True but only one can make the finals because they are all on the same side of the bracket along with Auburn.

On that side, of the 8 teams that will be in the supers, I think 6 will be from the SEC and that entire bracket at the CWS may be SEC (I think it will be). If that happens, then there will definitely be cause to complain. But, these pairings from here on are dependent on the rankings, so it's hard to complain too much.

Vandy and MissSt have a good shot to win regionals, which would put them against each other in the super. That is the best shot for an SEC team in the other bracket.

If LSU and UF were seeded on the same side last year then that final never happens. So yea it does kind of matter.

What the frick do you mean people like me. You don’t fricking know me. I rarely post here so it’s not like I have a track record of being a complainer. This doesn’t even have anything to do with LSU, it’s a general complaint with baseball selection committee in general.

I will say though that this year a big deal was made that they were seeding 1-16 instead of 1-8. So no more moving teams around 9-16 to fit the region instead of actual ranking. At least that was what the result was supposed to be.

Instead we have what looks to be the most deliberate seeding in years, which spits in the face of the concept of "unbiased ranking of 1-16"
