Look at this vid and be honest with me: Are State fans more excited about being at Omaha or the fact that Ole Miss IS NOT at Omaha?

Why would we get overly excited about simply being in Omaha? Been back 7 times since you last sniffed it. Will be back again before you ever go.
The reason we made a point to relish in your defeat in 2007 is because we'd been listening to "how you've passed us as a baseball program" for the 5 years prior. While it may have been true then, did you really think we wouldn't poke fun at the irony that we were back in Rosenblatt, and you were back at home?
Yeah, we don't care at all about winning bowl games. We're tied for the nation's longest bowl win streak, but of course according to you, that just happened accidentally!

How bout since the 90's?

beat Ole Miss, and anything after that is just gravy. Sure its A goal for us to beat yall, but its a small part of a much larger picture.
Exactly what picture am I looking at? The picture where Vandy had beat you 3 in a row and getting your asses handed to you by Kentucky and La Tech? Or having LSU mercy knee you in the last 5 minutes of the game? Trust me, our sites are set on winning other west games besides OM, because it just isn't fun anymore and we expect to beat you. It's like playing Memphis. We expect to beat you and to beat that arse pretty good.
Wow! Y'all have become Memphis.........

Message Posted by EST How is LSU currently a "little brother" to anyone in the SEC? Maybe back in the 1990's - when LSU was a little brother to just about everyone except Miss. State.
We rolled off several in a row on you in the 80's but you are too young to remember that apparently

???
UF and FSU have won their bowl game (s) 4 years in a row. Pretty sure Miss St didn't go bowling in 08 and 09.

Alabama and Auburn both have won their bowl games the past 3 years as well.
That's 3 teams just in the SEC with longer winning streaks than MSU. I really wonder where this guy pulled this shite from.

I think Arkansas bemoans that "they get no respect" the most.
No doubt. How can you respect a program whose mascot is prominently featured on the breakfast table?

Bragging about 5 bowl games over 13 years

I don't go to bowl games much, but when I do, I win. Stay grinding, my friends.

Whatever you say.

The implication was a reply to a direct quote. "State doesn't care about winning bowl games." I called that out for being incorrect. We may not have gone every season in the past, but when we do, we win them. Pretty simple.
I'm not bragging about the last decade of shite football at State, nor excusing it.

Can you define irony for me? I get confused ever since Alanis made that song.

You are aware that there were no Ole Miss fans there to see the signs and the gloating. Aside from Mississippi State, no one else gives a shite.

When you've only been to a total of 15 bowl games, who gives a shite. A better statistic is that we've won 6 more bowl games than you've been to total, we also have the highest bowl winning percentage in the SEC, and have lost only one bowl game in the past 20 years. A little bit more impressive than merely winning 5 bowl games in a row.
And no, that didn't happen accidentally. Yall played well in your recent bowl games, however you had a nice losing streak in the bowls preceding that.
