I don't know if you've noticed it or not, but the majority of Mississippians didn't attend college. As a matter of fact, most Mississippians are pretty dumb. Dumb people like looking at things, dumb people like winners, dumb people don't care about the past. Dumb people's minds are easily changed. Dumb people have dumb kids that hopefully grow up to be big and fast and strong and hurt people on the football field.

I think the first 9 pages of this thread answers your question emphatically.

Billboards do not equal LBS. Getting pissed about billboards equals LBS.

Oh and you called me a dense bastard

I mean name calling, really are we 5?

Contact stricklin about it, because it would probably work better than bragging on egg bowls.

Who said any of us were pissed about them? They are just a perfect example of LBS, and we're pointing it out.

Y'all give us a call when auburn or state or OM leave the SEC to get out from under their LBS. We'll be over here singing about our hate for a school we no longer play around our giant bonfire.

Maybe not in reference to you D but many on this thread that are Ole Miss fans seem pretty upset about it. It's relevance in this thread is that they keep bringing them up as evidence for LBS when all they were used for as a recruiting tool, which isn't proof of LBS. It's proof that MSU is winning and wants to advertise that winning. Nothing more.

It is a little ironic, but using the little brother tag always seemed to me to be little brotherish or at least very insecure.

Against who? Who is the competition in "OUR STATE"?

In what relevance is a billboard making us a perfect example of LBS. If you can answer that factually then I will believe you.

How am I being a dense bastard? Last I checked I wasn't the one having a hissy fit on a message board

Back to back bowl games. Hence winning. Doesn't matter how we do it.

Actually taking shots at your rival through billboards is pretty LBS. It's also listed on your gameday schedule in a more prominent position to a FAR greater accomplishment, winning two bowl games in a row.

Because they are putting down Ole Miss, plain and simple. You have to mention Ole Miss to market your school, that is LBS

You don't think that the pro bowl billboard and super bowl weren't taking shots back at us? Goes both ways.

hands down, landslide, poster child.

One thing is for certain, when you bama boys are getting off saying this over and over you're not shy with your superlatives.

In what universe did listing player accomplishments mean we were taking shots at State? That's a stretch to say the least. However there is no ambiguity in OUR STATE.

Operation Red Dog just makes it more evident that AU has LBS more than anything. They were like "Hey Tennessee got them busted. Maybe that's what we have to do to get out of being the number two rival."
