There are times where you can just feel it. There's a certain something in the air. More often than not it effects LSU in a positive way more than it hurts the opponent in a negative way but coaches and players on both sides have commented on it for years and years and years.
I know that you don't get it and that's fine, just know that you don't have any idea what you're talking about.
right, I don't know about this unmeasurable gut feeling crap that never applied when LSU was a bad team but suddenly makes your team better now that you have elite coaching and recruiting
gotcha that doesn't sound insane at all

You don't gave a great home field advantage because it doesn't exist.

it did apply before. like is aid it can affect the game, it can't literally win games by itself though.
prime example, 2012 Alabama was a much better team than 2012 LSU. On a neutral field we don't stay within 2 scores. But in TS in that environment our players were sky high and played over their heads. After the game to a man they all said the crowd lifted them up. But you're going to say that because we lost that game that no HFA exists? That makes no sense at all and this really shouldn't be that hard of a concept when we're talking about impressionable 18-21 year olds.

Alabama people want to poo poo everything unless they are "great" in that area too. BDS is not much of an HFA so of course gumps want to pretend no HFA anywhere exists. I have been to hundreds of games in Tiger Stadium, y'all have been to 2 or 3 max. I'm infinitely more qualified to talk about this subject than any of you. As are the hundreds upon hundreds of players and coaches both for LSU and for the opponents who have come through and commented on it. Including Nick Saban and Bear Bryant. But yeah y'all know more about it than those two

I heard of a church in Tennessee where the congregation picks up snakes and believe if they have enough faith they will not get bit and die.
They die from snake bits quit often and they dont have many members left. But the few that are still alive say the believe they just have more faith because they are living proof. The say and believe this.

I would still say it doesn't exist even if you won.

Prep your arse. Not even kidding. That is my betting game of the year for AU.

okay Liverpool fan, go tell the Kop they are wasting their time. Also tell Steve Gerrard all the times he has credited the fans with lifting their play that he was either mistaken or lying

I could look it up but I bet of LSU, auburn, Tennessee. Bama's biggest rivals. Bama has the best record as a visitor in Baton Rouge. You're not more qualified you're more biased. I am neutral on this.

How is it a fallacy? THIRTY freaking years Bama didn't lose there. THIRTY YEARS

quote:I know this may be hard for you to understand, but until recently, Bama was much better than LSU so it makes sense yall would beat us. To make our stadium overrated, how many times has Bama beat us there with Bama being worse or equivalent to LSU. Like i said, this may be difficult for you to grasp
Alabama wins 3-1 against LSU there. Overrated as frick.

holy frick i just gave you an example of when our HFA changed the game and we lost anyway and you're STILL using this tired argument?

i really don't understand why they are having such a hard time with such a simple concept. Nobody is saying a HFA can win a game on it's own.
