Ya think? I'm glad A&M is having such success this year so maybe the rest of the SEC will wake up and realize it's not sour grapes on our part. Yes A&M has money, but it's absolutely not the Aggie way to be a conference partner in the way Texas seeks to be a "partner".

The Texas cancer is indeed real and insidious, and if you don't think back-room deals were made and are continuing, you're lacking discernment.

Did you see OU's schedule? It is 180 degrees from Texas. They wanted to make sure the new schools were ONLY about Texas this year. They wanted 100% glory and spotlight on Texas.

That's not an accident, and it's not paranoia. Just truth.

No, it's because they took into account team success over the last 10 years. Texas has been bad, thus why we got an easy schedule. A&M has also been bad, thus why they also have an easy schedule.

So yeah, it is paranoia on your part.

Since we joined the SEC, only three teams have a better overall record than does Texas A&M.
We may not have won a championship, but we haven’t been “bad.”
That said, it’s past time to earn some hardware.

Texas made the playoffs last year. So, you're saying a playoff team needed to be given an easy schedule by Sankey and crew? Are you admitting you shouldn't have made the playoffs last year?

Obviously Texas because Georgia is dogshit. Can't believe we dropped one to such a garbage-tier program.

Texas plays two good teams this year.

0-1 so far at home.

My thoughts are you will be 0-2 after our game.

You only played 3 good teams last year and went 1-2.

So looking like 1-4 against solid teams the past two years. Sark is the man!!

It depends what you’re asking.

Going by current Sagarin Ratings:

tu schedule

State home (66.83 - 3.18 = 63.65
Oklahoma = 78.64
Georgia home (92.48 - 3.18) = 89.3
Vanderbilt away 72.84 + 3.18 = 76.02
Florida home (80.55 - 3.18) = 77.37
Arkansas away (78.62 + 3.18) = 81.8
Kentucky home (73.76 - 3.18) = 70.58
A&M away (86.19 + 3.18) = 89.37

Florida away (80.55 + 3.18) = 83.73
Arkansas = 78.62
Mizzou home (78.12 - 3.18) = 74.94
State away (66.83 + 3.18) = 70.01
LSU home (85.88 - 3.18) = 82.7
USC away (81.07 + 3.18) = 84.25
Auburn away (77.45 + 3.18) = 80.63
tu home (90.88 - 3.18) = 87.7

An average SEC has a rating of 82. So an average SEC team should go 6-2 against tu’ schedule. An average SEC team would go 4-4 with A&M’s.

A&M’s schedule is harder by just about every metric other than tu’s two toughest games(A&M and Georgia) than A&M’s(tu and USC).

But depending on how you weight variability, and what the distribution is for each record, you might come to a different conclusion, likely that A&M’s schedule is even harder. An average team would win their 6 games against tu’s expected wins by an average of 7.4 points. While A&M’s schedule has only has an expected margin of victory of 5.9 points. So while it’s technically harder for tu to win against their two toughest opponents, it’s still easier to get to 8-0, 7-1 or even 6-2.

As far as 10 win seasons go, only 2 SEC schools have less than A&M (Vandy and Arkansas) with 0. A&M has one 10 win season tied with Tenner and State. Every other SEC team has had more than one 10 win season since 2012, so while yes A&M's record hasn't been terrible, just about every other team in the conference has been more successful.

Yep, and we're 1-1 against (UGA and Vandy). Too bad we won't play another good team until the SEC CC Game.

You can manipulate numbers all you want in an attempt to make your “A&M has been bad” argument your Alamo/final stand.

Fact is: Unless you want to characterize A&M not winning the SEC whilst situated in the toughest division—in the most formidable conference—as being “bad,” you and I are going to disagree. I can live with that.

I do believe we’ve underperformed. We need to remedy that.

The biggest difference between the two is that UTSA and Louisiana-Monroe are better than New Mexico State and McNeese St, but it doesnt really change the records.

@Michigan v Notre Dame? Possibly? Maybe? Dunno

5-7.

Three times.

UCF, Cincy, Houston, etc.

First test in a real league:

You’re scared of A&M. You were hoping for an easy win at Kyle. Not happening. We got some boys that can play football.

You clowns are fun to watch squirm.

You have 1, and he's not even an A&M developed player.

Fun fact, the last time A&M beat UGA was in 1954. Bragging about Texas losing to a team that A&M hasn't beat in 70 years is not the best strategy to go with.

When will A&M play their first test this season?
