The best thing Arky can do is beat the shite outta LSU.
Then you have an argument.
You guys need to really step it up in your last few games to be considered better than 3rd in the West Div.

I agree with this.

Early season losses have never hurt as much as late season losses (sans 2007)

Yeah, but considering the early season loss was to one of the three tied teams, I find it unlikely it's going to be totally discounted.

Not disagreeing necessarily, but can you tell me the reason(s) why you put Arky above Bama?
Losing at home should automatically throw Bama out of the 3 way tie scenario. We get fricked bad enough playing you both on the road.

That can't be the only measure... LSU would have lost at home too (to Arky).
You have to look at the entirety of all three schedules, and IMO Bama and LSU's body of work is better than Arkansas'. LSU and Bama have dominated everyone on their schedules, while Arkansas has not. Not to mention that Bama and LSU have both had tougher schedules than Arkansas to begin with.

No chance IMO that happen, but nonetheless.... If it does, that means Bama to Atlanta.

If we lose 1 game on the road in Sept., how should we be ranked behind Bama/LSU who will have both lost at home in Nov? I don't care about the resume for the whole season,
losing @ Home in Nov. > Losing in Sept on the Road
ETA: > = worse IMO

No offense, but Of course you wouldn't. You're an Arkansas fan that realizes Bama and LSU have much better overall bodies of work in the 2011 season.
But you have to remember that the only losses the teams have had are to each other. So while you are looking at the losses (which are basically irrelevant), one has to look at the 11 wins by each team and compare those.
3 teams at 11-1 (7-1), one must find something to differentiate the teams, and IMO and the opinion of the voters, SOS and body of work will be the determining factor that give Bama/LSU the nod at 1-2. LSU/Bama will already have a significant edge in the computers.

If we play Bama at home and LSU at home we might go undefeated. It's a huge advantage playing at home.
Yall won at Bama which was huge, but if we win at LSU how in the hell can we get screwed out of SECCG? That would be complete garbage. We would have the longest winning streak in the league and would've just won at #1 LSU

Yeah, it's an advantage. An advantage that you had last year and will have again in 2012. That advantage evens out.

Well, it wouldn't be complete garabage because you would merely have identical records to LSU and Alabama.
