...player wise? Auburn's of course is Cam, don't think we will ever pay more for a player than him.

Don't try to say your school doesnt buy players either

Albert Means probably. $200K for that lard.

At least Cam was good and you didn't get caught.

Not for his play, but afterwards.

Can't remember everything that went along with that one, but didn't somebody die too?

If Gene Jelks is AU's highest then Bama's highest paid would have to be Eric Ramsey or Harvey Updyke.

Officially, he fell up the stairs...

It was initially a homicide investigation, but then ruled an accident.

Logan Thomas.

Who the hell really knows? It is possible he did die accidentally, he was old.

Cash for Title on a used Mustang. What's that - $400 maybe?

Maybe so.

You would think every program has enough dirt on the others for mutually assured destruction.

Not a Bama fan in the least, but I still to this day hate Mike Shula for what happened to Prothro. Prothro had the world ahead of him and lost it all due to that piece of shite of a coach having him still in game up almost 40 on Florida.

Not to mention I was eating dinner with my wife at Red Lobster at the time and had to get up and run to the restroom and puke up all my food when it happened.

Yes, but according to Gumps in 2006, he was a great coach who deserved another year.

Hard not to like Prothro.

That was an awful way to end a career.

Always hated that and hope he has been well taken care of.

He works (or at least did a year or two ago) as a bank teller at a Regions Bank in Tuscaloosa.
