Herschel Walker and Frank Sinkwich are the only two players at Georgia that won the Heisman Trophy.

Why do they not have more championships? They are ranked 19 in all time wins.

Someone sold their soul for the 1980 title, and the curse hasn’t been lifted yet. When does it expire?
With LSU or Florida luck, we could conceivably have titles in 81,82,02,07,12,17,18.....but that curse.

LSU and Bama. Reminds me of the Bulls(with MJ) vs the Jazz(with Malone). Malone would've had multiple titles had he not have faced Jordan in the Finals

The Marino pass certainly sucked but Clemson won out.
'82 was the heartbreaker with the 3rd and short Blackledge bomb that killed us.
Of course '12 and '17 were also NC's left on the table.
However "lucky" we got in '80 has come back to bite us in arse 5 fold since then with horrible luck.

We were flunking out guys right and left in the late 80's along tighting our admissions for athletes.It certainly hurt us then.
The "Georgia way" (Dink Nesmith) guys hurt us more the 2000's...specifically when Saban got cranked up

They showed multiple times down in Jacksonville in the 00's.
Missed field goals,dropped passes and fumbles ALL cost us close games in the CMR era.
I think there's been enough payback.
