I love how people say Georgia is cocky for saying we HOPE to win the East, yet fans of a team that won 4 games (GT,Indiana St., UMass and Southern Miss.) is going undefeated through their first 4 games, and they think that is reasonable.

So, you think you are going to beat West Virginia who many believe will be ranked to start the season, and then beat Florida who you have beaten once in the last 13 years?

I love how people have a lack of basic reading comprehension skills. Must be a uga thing. And no I'm not even going to waste my time pointing out why.

might have only 2 starters back on defense..that spells trouble dawgs. No, please spare me the storyline about frosh getting some snaps on defense. You win with upperclassmen

Are you predicting 2 of our returning 4 starters on d aren't going to play?

We will start at least 6 upperclassmen on d. Unsure what your benchmark is though. Can you enlighten us?

Even though the schedule is Charmin soft...at least 3 Ls coming to Athens.

Ive seen Auburn and Florida fans post about weak schedules. Outside of Auburn having to play the yearly rivavly game with Bama, Auburn and Florida’s schedule look weak to me.

UGA has LSU and Auburn for crossovers. Florida has LSU and Missippi State. Auburn has Tennessee and UGA. UGA doesn’t have a big name OOC game. Florida has a 6 win FSU with a new coach. Auburn opens with Washington. Both should win those games fairly easy in my opinion.

Washington won’t be easy. Jake Browning should have pretty good command of the offense in this, his 12th season as starter.

UGA, the new LSU. It’s ok dawgs...not many teams beat Saban. Get in line and await the retirement of Saban. It’ll be fun watching Bama come back to the land of the mortals.

UGA lost to Alabama in overtime in the national championship with a second year coach and a true freshman qb. The same second year coach who is putting on a clinic in recruiting and bringing in five star after five star. I’m not sold this is the end of the world and UGA is tailspinning into LSU territory.

I mean, at this point in time that Natty back in 1980 is at least twice as far away as your own death is.

You're old af bro. You probably just missed your last chance in your life to watch your team play for a national title. Yikes, that's depressing.

I remember the 1980 championship. I'm 48 and I'm probably in better shape than you. frick YOU, kid.

Your national championship was a disgrace.

Florida has two bowl teams OOC. Not terrible.

As for Georgia losing. They should be favored every game, doesn't mean they win them all.

LSU, USCe, Florida, Auburn, Missouri could all have a great game Georgia isn't ready for. Going undefeated is not easy. Especially with a lot of new faces.

We don't expect to be as good as we were this year. But we hope we can make the SECCG. I wouldn't ever say someone can't beat someone else, though. Probably not this year, but maybe in 2019. We'll see.

We will be better on offense this year. Losing Chubb and Michel suck but Swift is for real, White is coming and don't sleep on Holyfield and Herrien( who is underrated). Ridley,Godwin, and Hardman will only get better.
Defense will be good enough.

Auburnnis the only team with a legitimate shot. LSU has an outside chance if they get decent QB play. That said I'll have to see how GA handles their recent success and what experience they return.

Good, because when I read posts like the previous one it is precious time and energy that I will never get back.

I know anonymity allows for stupidity but something tells me this is probably how you are in real life. Don't get me wrong you're probably too big a coward to say something like this to anyone face to face but this is probably how you think irl.

LSU could be a threat and Auburn is always tough but with that game in Athens I’d bet on the Dawgs.

No one in the east will beat uga. There's no competition.

Honestly i think our defense was overrated this past season...I mainly mean defending the deep passes. Every year that Kirby is at Georgia is another year that more of his guys are on the team in place of Richts. So honestly I don't see a decline in our defense at all. Sure some superstars are gone but we are in the beginning stages of reloading rather than replacing.

Georgia's offense will be better. Receivers are better, Fromm has a year of experience, RBs were mostly all top 5 in recruiting, Offensive line will be better.

Auburn will play us tough but I see a similar outcome as the SEC title game. LSU was already so so and are losing a lot of guys so we should beat them as well.

Alabama will be the toughest test obviously. People have to understand the this isn't Richt UGA anymore. Kirby has completely made over this team and has brought our program to a new level. A Georgia Alabama game will be a toss up from here on our. Either team could win so it's hard to say.

I wouldn't be surprised if Georgia wins the national title to be honest. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't.
