Chubb. If he doesn't have to split carries early in the season, he breaks Herschel's single season record, IMO. He was the best back in the SEC this season, IMO....and I am counting Gurley.

Chubb is the real deal, that is without question. Running behind the second ranked SEC QB passing for 67.9% didn't hurt.
LF ran against SEC west teams far better that Georgia played against in the east, behind the 13th ranked SEC QB passing for 50%.
Your statement about LF a bust makes me think you are about 12 years old.

You obviously didn't read the rest of the thread. These have pretty much been debunked as LSU's QBs and UGA's threw for the same amount of yards on the season. Hutson Mason wasn't a QB anyone was scared of. Teams stacked the box on us almost every game daring us to throw the ball, and they still didn't stop Chubb.
That being said, this entire thread is like two dudes measuring dicks when both are packing foot longs. Chubb's just happened to be a quarter inch bigger.

I'll give the edge to Elliot over chubb, only because elliot played the season basically one handed. Played with a broken left hand all season. I'd like to see those guys catch the ball though.

I don't see how after the playoff. Zeke Elliot is anything but #1. Dude was incredible and just got better as the game went. I would take him in a heartbeat, no disrespect to the other two. All 3 are great backs.

Chubb broke his left hand in practice before the USC game and had screws after the game. So....Chubb played with a broken hand as well.

Yeah it hurt watching him run more yards than any freshman in lsu or BAMA history.

Answer is obviously Chubb. Buga is a bust. I would take Elliot on my team too.

Against Florida? LF was sharing carries with 4 backs and ran for 140 while chubb ran for 156.
LF had 27 carries to get his 140 yards. Chubb had 21 carries for 156. Much better.

Thats not much much better.
Well, yes, it is. If Chubb had the same number of carries that LF had aganst Florida and equaled his average he would have finished with about 200 yards against 140 for LF with the same number of carries. You don't think an extra 60 yards is much better?

Having the better stats doesnt necessarily mean he is the better player.
Then what does? They both ran against stacked boxes because neither had a scary QB. How would you judge the better player? reputation?

Chubb is doing better in college, but LF had an amazing high school career. That's all that matters to LSU fans. LSU opinion > facts.

What a long winded ignorant babble you just posted. There goes that shite smell again
What Riseup said was babble? yet it makes perfect sense to say that Chubb will only go down and Fournette will only get better? Ok. based on what? LF had more carries, yet Chubb had a LOT more yards. You just playing the odds?
